Blackmail and Murder Case | Crime Patrol Dastak

Retired Eknath Tawde hires a taxi to travel to his brother’s house. The taxi driver notices that Eknath has a head injury and is repeatedly pressing his head in pain. When the taxi reaches its destination, the driver asks him to get down, but Eknath does not respond. Realizing that he is unconscious, the driver immediately calls the police. Police take him to the hospital where doctors declare that he has died due to a severe head injury.

Police trace and contact Eknath’s brother Ramakant with the help of Eknath’s mobile phone. Ramakant tells the police that Eknath’s son Prasad Tawde (played by Jatin Shah) had attacked him on the head. After the attack, Eknath informed Ramakant over the phone that he was coming to his house.

Police try calling Prasad, but he is heavily intoxicated and does not answer the phone. When police reach Eknath’s home, they find the house locked. Neighbors inform them that another police team had already taken Prasad to the police station earlier that morning.

Police later discover that Prasad’s fiancée Ketki (played by Rishina Kandhari) had lodged an FIR against both Prasad and Eknath for blackmailing her using private photographs. According to Ketki, Prasad had already extorted a large amount of money from her and was again demanding more. He had threatened to upload her private photos on the internet if she failed to arrange the money.

Prasad is too drunk to give any proper statement. Police take him to the concerned police station and begin questioning him about his father’s death.

बुजुर्ग एकनाथ तावडे रास्ते में एक टैक्सी रोकते हैं और उसमें बैठ जाते हैं। उनके सिर में चोट लगी है जिसकी वजह से वो बार-बार अपना सिर दबा रहे हैं और टैक्सी ड्राइवर इस बात पर गौर कर रहा है। जब वो अपने गंतव्य पर पहुंचते हैं तो टैक्सी वाला उनको उतरने के लिए बोलता है मगर कोई जवाब नहीं आता। टैक्सी वाला उनको हिलाने-डुलाने की कोशिश करता है मगर बुज़ुर्ग कोई प्रतिक्रिया नहीं देते। वो पुलिस को फोन करता है। पुलिस आती है और टैक्सी ड्राइवर तथा बुजुर्ग को अस्पताल ले जाती है। अस्पताल में डॉक्टर बताते हैं कि उनके सिर में गंभीर चोट लगी थी जिसकी वजह से उनकी मृत्यु हो चुकी है।

पुलिस उनके मोबाइल फोन की मदद से उनके भाई रमाकांत को फोन करती है। वो बताते हैं कि उनके बेटे प्रसाद तावडे ने उनके सिर पर हमला किया था और उसके बाद वो टैक्सी से अपने भाई के घर आ रहे थे तभी उनकी मौत हो गई। पुलिस उनके घर पर जाकर पता करती है तो मालूम पड़ता है कि इलाके की पुलिस पहले ही उनके बेटे को थाने ले जा चुकी है।

पुलिस जब उस थाने पहुंचती है तो पता चलता है कि प्रसाद की मंगेतर केतकी ने प्रसाद और उसके पिता एकनाथ के खिलाफ शिकायत दर्ज कराई थी कि दोनों बाप-बेटा उसे पैसों के लिए ब्लैकमेल कर रहे थे। प्रसाद उससे काफी पैसे पहले ही ऐंठ चुका था और अब उसे और पैसे चाहिए थे। अगर पैसे नहीं मिलते तो वो केतकी की निजी तस्वीरें इंटरनेट पर अपलोड करने की धमकी दे रहा था।

प्रसाद बुरी तरह नशे में धुत है। वो न तो बयान देने की हालत में है और न ही ठीक से खड़ा हो पा रहा है। पुलिस अब उसे अपने साथ थाने ले जाती है।
