An elderly woman, Laxmi Agarwal, lives in Delhi with her daughter-in-law Priya. They are a wealthy family living a comfortable life. Hari Mishra is their full-time domestic helper who is facing financial difficulties because of his sister’s upcoming marriage in his hometown. His father asks him to arrange money for the wedding.
Hari discusses the matter with Laxmi Agarwal and requests that his salary be increased from ₹6,000 to ₹10,000 per month, but Laxmi firmly refuses. Angered by her decision, he quits his job.
Two days after leaving the job, a young man enters the house in broad daylight and kills Laxmi Agarwal while Priya is away for a short time. The intruder murders Laxmi, robs the house, and locks Priya’s minor son Yash inside a bathroom.
When the police begin their investigation, they discover that the killer had disconnected the wires of the main CCTV camera at the entrance before entering the house. Priya tells them about Hari, and when the police try calling his mobile number, they find that it is switched off.
लक्ष्मी अग्रवाल एक बड़े घर की मालकिन हैं जो अपने पति, बहू और पोते यश के साथ रहती हैं। हरी मिश्रा उनका नौकर है जो घर में ही रहता है। हरी की बहन की शादी है और उसे पैसों की जरूरत है। हरी लक्ष्मी से अपनी तनख्वाह बढ़ाने की बात करता है, मगर लक्ष्मी साफ मना कर देती हैं। हरी गुस्से में आकर नौकरी छोड़ देता है।
Actress Ojaswi Oberoiअगले दिन जब प्रिया किसी काम से घर से बाहर गई होती है, एक आदमी हेलमेट पहनकर घर में घुसता है और लक्ष्मी की हत्या कर देता है। हत्या के बाद वह घर से जेवर और नकदी चोरी करता है तथा लक्ष्मी के पोते यश को बाथरूम में बंद कर देता है। जब वह भागने वाला होता है तभी प्रिया घर लौट आती है। प्रिया उसे देखकर शोर मचाती है, लेकिन वह वहां से फरार हो जाता है।
पुलिस मौके पर पहुंचकर देखती है कि बंगले के गेट पर लगे सीसीटीवी कैमरे का तार काटा गया है। पुलिस को शक है कि यह हत्या किसी ऐसे व्यक्ति ने की है जिसे घर की पूरी जानकारी थी। प्रिया पुलिस को बताती है कि दो दिन पहले उनका नौकर हरी पैसों को लेकर नौकरी छोड़कर चला गया था। जब पुलिस हरी का मोबाइल नंबर मिलाती है तो उसका फोन स्विच ऑफ मिलता है।
