Sometimes, a single night can change everything. For Rita Gomes (real name Suzette Jordan and played by Geetanjali Mishra), what began as an ordinary evening with friends turned into a nightmare she couldn’t even put into words. When she reached home, shaken and terrified, her silence said more than any explanation ever could. It took immense courage for her to finally reveal what had happened that night.
According to Rita, she had gone out to a pub to unwind, hoping to escape the stress of her life. There, she met a man who introduced himself as Vikram. What started as a casual conversation soon turned into something far more dangerous. When she struggled to find a ride back home late at night, Vikram offered to drop her safely. It seemed like a simple act of help—but that decision would haunt her forever.
On the way, things took a sudden and terrifying turn. The car stopped, unfamiliar faces joined in, and before she could fully understand what was happening, she was trapped in a situation she couldn’t escape. The city that once felt familiar suddenly became a place filled with fear and betrayal.
When Rita finally gathered the strength to speak up, she expected support and justice. But what she encountered instead was doubt, judgment, and questions about her character. Her actions, her choices, even her lifestyle were put under scrutiny, as if the crime itself was secondary. The delay in filing the complaint only made things worse, giving more room for people to question her truth.
As the investigation began, things didn’t seem straightforward. The identities of the men involved raised new questions. Names didn’t match faces, and details didn’t align with reality. It felt as if someone had carefully constructed a false identity, making it harder to trace the truth.

कभी-कभी एक साधारण सी रात जिंदगी को पूरी तरह बदल देती है। रीटा गोम्स के साथ भी कुछ ऐसा ही हुआ। दोस्तों के साथ बिताई एक आम शाम अचानक एक ऐसे डरावने अनुभव में बदल गई, जिसे वह शब्दों में बयां भी नहीं कर पा रही थी। घर पहुंचते ही उसकी हालत सब कुछ बता रही थी, लेकिन सच बोलने की हिम्मत जुटाने में उसे समय लगा।
उस रात रीटा सिर्फ अपने तनाव से दूर कुछ समय बिताना चाहती थी। एक पब में उसकी मुलाकात एक ऐसे व्यक्ति से हुई जिसने खुद को विक्रम बताया। शुरुआत में बातचीत सामान्य थी, लेकिन धीरे-धीरे हालात बदलते गए। देर रात जब उसे घर जाने के लिए कोई साधन नहीं मिला, तो उसी व्यक्ति ने उसे छोड़ने का प्रस्ताव दिया। यह एक सामान्य मदद लग रही थी, लेकिन यही फैसला उसकी जिंदगी का सबसे खतरनाक मोड़ बन गया।
रास्ते में अचानक सब कुछ बदल गया। गाड़ी रुकी, कुछ अनजान लोग उसमें शामिल हो गए, और देखते ही देखते हालात उसके नियंत्रण से बाहर हो गए। जिस शहर में वह सुरक्षित महसूस करती थी, वही शहर अब उसके लिए डर का कारण बन चुका था।
जब रीटा ने हिम्मत जुटाकर अपने साथ हुई घटना के बारे में बताया, तो उसे उम्मीद थी कि उसे न्याय मिलेगा। लेकिन उसे मिला शक, सवाल और उसके चरित्र पर उठते आरोप। उसके फैसलों को कटघरे में खड़ा किया गया, जैसे गलती उसी की हो। शिकायत दर्ज करने में हुई देरी ने भी लोगों को उस पर सवाल उठाने का मौका दे दिया।
जांच शुरू हुई, लेकिन मामला सीधा नहीं था। जिन लोगों के नाम सामने आए, उनके बारे में जानकारी मेल नहीं खा रही थी। चेहरे कुछ और थे, नाम कुछ और। ऐसा लग रहा था जैसे किसी ने बहुत सोच-समझकर एक झूठी पहचान बनाई हो, ताकि सच तक पहुंचना मुश्किल हो जाए।
धीरे-धीरे यह मामला लोगों के बीच चर्चा का विषय बन गया। सिर्फ घटना ही नहीं, बल्कि उसे संभालने के तरीके पर भी सवाल उठने लगे। आवाजें उठने लगीं, न्याय की मांग होने लगी, और दबाव बढ़ने लगा कि सच्चाई सामने लाई जाए।
लेकिन जैसे-जैसे जांच आगे बढ़ी, मामला और उलझता गया। हर सुराग एक नए रहस्य की तरफ इशारा कर रहा था। हर जवाब के साथ नए सवाल खड़े हो रहे थे। यह सिर्फ एक रात की कहानी नहीं रह गई थी, बल्कि एक ऐसे जाल की तरह लगने लगी थी जिसमें कई परतें छिपी थीं।
सब कुछ इतना सीधा नहीं था जितना दिखाई दे रहा था। क्या यह सिर्फ एक घटना थी, या इसके पीछे कोई बड़ा खेल चल रहा था? क्या जिन लोगों पर शक किया जा रहा था, वे सच में वही थे जो दिख रहे थे

रीटा इस पूरी कहानी के बीच खड़ी थी—अपने सच के साथ, लेकिन एक ऐसे सिस्टम के सामने जो तय नहीं कर पा रहा था कि उसे विश्वास करना चाहिए या नहीं। डर, दबाव और सवालों के बावजूद उसने हार नहीं मानी।
क्योंकि कई बार असली लड़ाई उस जगह नहीं होती जहां अपराध होता है… बल्कि वहां होती है जहां सच को साबित करना पड़ता है।
और इस कहानी में भी सच कहीं छिपा हुआ था… जो सामने आने का इंतजार कर रहा था।
रीटा बुरी तरह से घायल है. वो फोन कर के अपने दोस्त को बुलाती है जो उसे उसके घर तक छोड़ता है. रीटा बहुत सदमे में है और अपने साथ हुई वारदात को किसी के साथ शेयर नहीं कर पाती है. वो इसलिए भी सदमे में है की उसके साथ जो कुछ हुआ उसमे उसकी भी गलती है क्यूंकि वो इतनी रात तक घर के बाहर रहीं. धीरे धीरे वो सब कुछ अपनी माँ और एक पडोसी सोशल वर्कर को बताती है. सबलोग और उसकी बेटी उसको प्रोत्साहित करते हैं की वो पुलिस में कम्प्लेन करे.
पुलिस स्टेशन जाने पर पुलिस का नजरिया बहुत अजीब होता है. पुलिस वाले पहले तो बात मानते नहीं हैं और बाद में रीटा को ही दोष देते हैं.
आइये देखिये रीता ने किस तरह से प्रतिकूल परिस्थतियों में ये लम्बी लड़ाई जीती…
