The case begins with the mysterious death of Anjali, a newly married woman who dies in a hotel fire during a weekend trip with her husband Dinesh. While the police declare it a suicide or accident, Dinesh is convinced it is murder. His family supports this belief, describing Anjali as loving, cheerful, and deeply attached to them—someone who would never take her own life.

During the investigation, a hotel receptionist reveals that a suspicious man wearing a kurta and dark glasses visited Anjali the night she died. Suspicion falls on Vilas, a man from Anjali’s past. But before he can be properly questioned, Vilas is found dead, making the case even more complicated. Soon after, strange events begin—Dinesh receives phone calls from someone claiming to be Anjali. The voice sounds exactly like her, guiding him to places tied to their memories and promising to reveal her killer.

At midnight, in a dramatic gathering, the “spirit” of Anjali appears to expose the murderer. A red stain mysteriously marks Dinesh’s father, Mr. Mehra, creating shock and confusion. Under pressure, the truth finally unfolds—but not in the way anyone expected.

Anjali is actually alive. The woman who died was her sister Kanchan, who had arrived unexpectedly and was mistaken for Anjali. Mr. Mehra, driven by greed for dowry, had hired a killer to murder his daughter-in-law. The plan went horribly wrong when Kanchan, wearing Anjali’s clothes, became the victim instead. To protect Anjali from further danger, her father hid the truth and declared Kanchan as Anjali.

With the help of Sam D’Silva, Anjali staged the ghostly calls and appearances to psychologically break Mr. Mehra and force a confession. In the end, the truth is revealed—what seemed like a supernatural mystery was actually a carefully planned trap to expose greed, deception, and a brutal crime hidden behind family respectability.

एक रात, अंजली की “आत्मा” सबके सामने अपने कातिल को उजागर करने का वादा करती है। आधी रात को, एक रहस्यमयी घटना में, दिनेश के पिता महरा साहब पर खून का निशान दिखाई देता है और सब चौंक जाते हैं। दबाव में आकर सच्चाई सामने आती है।
