Deal: Shanti, a minor brought to India from Bangladesh (Episode 388 on 29th June 2014)

16 year old Shanti is younger among two daughters of her poor mother-father. Her father in unemployed and does not have anything to earn. Her mother is the whole-sole earner in the family but her father steals that earning for his desires.

A day Shanti's mother and sister notices that from few days her father didn't booze. They are amazed to notice this great change how a man can change like this. A morning he comes back meeting someone and asks Shanti to come with him, he has got some labour work and Shanti will also earn with him. Shanti's mother forbade to bring Shanti because she is a minor and want to continue her studies. She asks him to bring Shanti's elder sister with him but he does not agree and convinces Shanti that if she will come with him, she will be able to help her mother in earnings.

He sales shanti to another man. When Shanti's mother asks him about Shanti, he says that she ran away with someone and will not comeback. Shanti's mother goes to Dhaka Police to raise a complain but police also denies her saying Shanti must have run away with someone and will comeback on her own.

On the other hand, that man prepares some forged documents of Shanti, bring her to India via Indo-Bangladesh Border and sales her to another person in west bengal.

शांति 16 साल की है और वो गरीब माँ-बाप की दो बेटियों से छोटी है. उसका बाप कोई कामधाम नहीं करता है और सिर्फ अय्याशी करता है. उसकी माँ ही घर की जीविका चलाती है. शांति का बाप उसकी माँ के कमाए हुए पैसे चुरा कर अपनी आदतें पूरी करता है.

शांति की माँ और बहन एक दिन गौर करते हैं की उसका पिता कई दिन से बिलकुल ठीक है. उन्हें इस बात से ताज्जुब होता है कि ये इंसान इतने दिन से ठीक क्यूँ है. एक दिन सुबह शांति का बाप किसी से मिल कर आता है और बताता है की उसको कुछ मजदूरी का काम मिल गया है और शांति को अपने साथ ले जाना चाहता है क्युकी काम में एक लड़की की भी ज़रुरत है. माँ के मना करने पर भी वो शांति को ही ले जाता है ये समझा कर की शांति अब खुद कमाएगी और अपने पैरों पर खड़ी होगी. उसकी माँ बोलती है की शांति अभी छोटी है, बड़ी बहन को ले जाओ तो वो नहीं मानता है.

वो शांति को ले जाकर अपने एक जानने वाले को बेच देता है और मिले हुए रुपयों से फिर से अय्याशी करने लगता है. माँ के पूछने पर की शांति कहाँ है, वो कुछ नै बताता है और कहता है की शांति भाग गई किसी के साथ. शांति की माँ ढाका पुलिस में कंप्लेंन करने जाती है मगर उसकी कोई सुनवाई नहीं होती. पुलिस वाले भी ये बोल कर खारिज कर देते हैं की किसी के साथ चली गई होगी, आजायेगी.

दूसरी तरफ वो आदमी शांति के नकली कागज़ बना कर बांग्लादेश-भारत की सीमा से भारत ले कर आता है और पश्चिम बंगाल लाकर एक अन्य आदमी को बेच देता है.
