Chaddhi Baniyan Gang – Rajasthan’s Notorious Criminals

The story is based on Rajasthan’s Kachcha Baniyan (Chaddhi Baniyan) gang. This gang refers to a well-organized criminal network operating in certain parts of North India, including Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, and others. Most criminals of these gangs originate from Rajasthan. The attackers are known as the Chaddhi Baniyan Gang because they wear only undergarments during their crimes. For their safety, they apply black lubricant, oil, or mud to their bodies so that no one can catch them due to the slippery surface.

The gang operates in different groups, and each group can have 5 to 10 members. During the day, they live like simple people, similar to Banjaras (nomadic tribes), and constantly change their locations. Their groups also include women who help them create diversions and dramas on the roads. These women also assist in taking care of abducted children. The boys among these children are groomed to become future criminals.
