Anita is a brilliant engineering student who has always remained among the top rankers in her college. She receives an excellent campus placement offer from a reputed company, making her parents extremely proud. However, beneath her academic success, Anita is silently struggling under immense pressure and confusion about life.
Her family constantly encourages her to focus only on studies, future success, grades, and career achievements. Although everyone believes Anita is living her dream life, she slowly begins feeling emotionally exhausted and trapped under expectations.
Just two days before her final exams, Anita tells her family that she is travelling to Nashik for a family function. However, she never reaches there. Soon after, her family discovers a letter in which Anita writes that she is tired and does not want anyone to search for her.
The police begin a large-scale investigation. During the inquiry, they discover that Anita had removed the SIM cards from both her phones before leaving home. CCTV footage later confirms that she deposited her internship cheque in a bank before disappearing.
As the investigation progresses, police learn that Anita travelled to Ahmedabad and started living independently there. She rented a room in a working women’s hostel and even found a small job at a café. A young man named Mahesh Bhanjali, who had simply helped Anita find accommodation, initially becomes a suspect but is later proven innocent.
When police finally locate Anita, they discover that she never intended to harm herself. She only wanted a break from the constant academic pressure and expectations surrounding her life. Anita explains that she wanted to live a normal and balanced life instead of continuously sacrificing her present for an uncertain future.
The investigating officer counsels Anita and her family, explaining the importance of communication, emotional support, and mental health awareness. Eventually, Anita reunites with her parents, and the family decides to rebuild their relationship with more openness and understanding.
अनीता एक होनहार इंजीनियरिंग छात्रा है, जो हमेशा अपने कॉलेज के टॉप छात्रों में शामिल रही है। उसे एक बड़ी कंपनी से शानदार कैंपस प्लेसमेंट भी मिल चुका है, जिससे उसके माता-पिता बेहद खुश हैं। लेकिन इस सफलता के पीछे अनीता मानसिक दबाव और उलझनों से जूझ रही होती है।
उसके घर में हमेशा पढ़ाई, अच्छे नंबर, करियर और भविष्य की सफलता पर जोर दिया जाता है। सबको लगता है कि अनीता अपनी सपनों जैसी जिंदगी जी रही है, लेकिन अंदर ही अंदर वह लगातार दबाव में टूटती जा रही होती है।
फाइनल एग्जाम्स से ठीक दो दिन पहले अनीता अपने परिवार को बताती है कि वह नासिक में एक पारिवारिक समारोह में जा रही है। लेकिन वह वहां कभी नहीं पहुंचती। बाद में परिवार को उसका एक पत्र मिलता है जिसमें वह लिखती है कि वह थक चुकी है और कोई उसे ढूंढने की कोशिश न करे।
पुलिस जांच शुरू करती है और पता चलता है कि घर छोड़ने से पहले अनीता ने अपने दोनों मोबाइल फोन से सिम कार्ड निकाल दिए थे। बैंक की सीसीटीवी फुटेज से यह भी पता चलता है कि उसने अपना इंटर्नशिप चेक जमा करवाया था।
जांच आगे बढ़ने पर पुलिस को पता चलता है कि अनीता अहमदाबाद पहुंच गई थी। वहां उसने एक वर्किंग वूमेन हॉस्टल में कमरा लिया और एक कैफे में नौकरी भी शुरू कर दी। महेश भनजाली नाम का युवक, जिसने केवल उसकी मदद की थी, शुरुआत में शक के दायरे में आता है, लेकिन बाद में वह निर्दोष साबित होता है।
जब पुलिस अनीता को ढूंढ लेती है, तब वह बताती है कि उसका आत्महत्या करने का कोई इरादा नहीं था। वह केवल पढ़ाई और भविष्य के लगातार दबाव से कुछ समय के लिए दूर जाना चाहती थी। वह सामान्य और संतुलित जीवन जीना चाहती थी।
अंत में पुलिस अधिकारी अनीता और उसके परिवार को समझाते हैं कि मानसिक दबाव, संवाद की कमी और अत्यधिक अपेक्षाएं बच्चों को अंदर से तोड़ सकती हैं। परिवार फिर से एक-दूसरे को समझने और खुलकर बात करने का फैसला करता है।
