The Makeup Artist Kidnapping Case
This episode is based on the real-life kidnapping of high-profile makeup artist Abhishek Khetrapal from Dwarka, Delhi, who owned a beauty salon in Janakpuri.
According to police, five individuals were arrested in connection with the kidnapping. The alleged mastermind, Wasim, had previously worked as a tailor in a boutique run by Abhishek’s mother. Originally from Hardoi district, Uttar Pradesh, Wasim was reportedly familiar with the family’s financial condition and believed they could easily pay a substantial ransom.
In the dramatized version of the case, Vivek Arora is a successful makeup artist and owner of a high-end salon.
One evening, despite promising his parents that he would join them for dinner, Vivek leaves for what appears to be an urgent assignment. A man contacts him and requests that he provide a makeover for his differently-abled sister on her wedding day. Although Vivek initially declines, the caller repeatedly insists, and Vivek eventually agrees to meet him.
Shortly afterward, Vivek is kidnapped.
His father receives a text message informing him that his son has been abducted.
Police begin questioning everyone connected to Vivek.
Sunita (played by Preeti Raj Sharma), who works as Vivek’s assistant at the salon, tells investigators about a previous dispute involving two women, Tasleem Pathan and Neeta. According to Sunita, Tasleem was jealous of Vivek’s growing success and had allegedly encouraged Neeta to falsely implicate him. However, the matter was eventually resolved, and Tasleem later apologized.
Vivek’s girlfriend Anjali provides another lead. She explains that Shruti’s boyfriend often argued with Vivek because he believed Vivek was flirting with Shruti, one of his co-workers at the salon. The boyfriend had even threatened Vivek in the past.
As the investigation progresses, police must determine whether the kidnapping is connected to personal rivalries, professional jealousy, or something far more sinister.
विवेक अरोरा एक सफल और हाई-प्रोफाइल सैलून का मालिक है। एक शाम वह अपने माता-पिता से वादा करता है कि वह उनके साथ रात का खाना खाएगा, लेकिन तभी उसे एक जरूरी फोन कॉल आता है।
फोन करने वाला व्यक्ति बताता है कि उसकी दिव्यांग बहन की शादी है और उसके मेकओवर के लिए विवेक का पहुंचना बहुत जरूरी है। विवेक पहले मना करने की कोशिश करता है, लेकिन लगातार अनुरोध किए जाने पर वह वहां जाने के लिए तैयार हो जाता है।
इसके बाद विवेक का अपहरण हो जाता है और उसके पिता के मोबाइल पर एक संदेश आता है कि उनका बेटा किडनैप कर लिया गया है।
पुलिस जांच शुरू करती है और विवेक से जुड़े सभी लोगों से पूछताछ करती है। सुनीता, जो विवेक के सैलून में सहायक है, बताती है कि कुछ समय पहले विवेक का तस्लीम पठान और नीता नाम की महिलाओं से विवाद हुआ था। बाद में यह मामला सुलझ गया था और तस्लीम ने अपनी गलती स्वीकार कर माफी भी मांग ली थी।
विवेक की गर्लफ्रेंड अंजलि पुलिस को बताती है कि श्रुति के बॉयफ्रेंड का भी विवेक से अक्सर झगड़ा होता था क्योंकि उसे लगता था कि विवेक श्रुति में रुचि रखता है। उसने विवेक को धमकी भी दी थी।
