Anjali is the mother of two children, Smriti and Ankit. She lives in a slum area of Mumbai, and her mother’s house is located nearby, where she spends most of her time. One day, she returns home alone from her mother’s house, leaving her children there. A few minutes later, her children also return home and find their mother lying in a pool of blood. Her throat has been slit, and she is dead. They immediately call their grandmother and aunt Arpita.
Police investigation reveals that Anjali’s elder sister is unmarried and having an affair with a man from a different caste. The Crime Branch team finds crucial evidence at the crime scene, based on which they begin questioning an elderly taxi driver who lives near Anjali’s house.

ये घटना महाराष्ट्र के ठाणे जिले के कोपरी इलाके की है। मरने वाली महिला का नाम राखी शेजवाल था जिसकी गला काट कर हत्या कर दी गई थी। वो 2 अक्टूबर रविवार का दिन था जब राखी अपनी माँ के घर से अपने घर अकेले पहुंची थी। उसकी माँ का घर वहीँ पास में था जहाँ वो अक्सर जाया करती थी। उस दिन भी वो अपनी माँ के घर से निकलते समय अपने चार साल और दो साल के दोनों बेटों को वहीँ छोड़ कर अपने घर पानी भरने के लिए आई थी।
राखी का घर वीर शम्भाजी चाल में था जहाँ वो पहली मंज़िल पर अपने पति राहुल और दो बच्चों के साथ रहती थी। राखी की लाश सबसे पहले उसके चार साल के बेटे ने देखी, जो राखी के घर लौटने के कुछ समय बाद करीब डेढ़ बजे अपने दो साल के भाई के साथ नानी के घर से वापस आया था। जब वह घर के अंदर पहुँचा तो उसने देखा कि राखी बाथरूम में पड़ी हुई है और उसका गला कटा हुआ है, जिससे काफी खून बह रहा था…Click here to know more about the case…
