3-year-old Falak (real name Zunera Ahmed) is the only child of her father Salim and mother Rubina, who suddenly disappears while playing outside the door of the house. Efforts are made to find her throughout the entire locality, and the police are called when Falak is not found.

The police question every person in the locality about Falak and also search some houses, but nothing is found. Ultimately, Falak’s father, Salim, receives a ransom call, and the kidnapper demands 75 lakh rupees for Falak’s release. Salim is shocked to hear this and says that he cannot even think about that much money. He feels that someone has kidnapped Falak by mistake because he does not have that kind of money. Salim says that he can arrange a maximum of 15 lakh rupees, so the kidnapper asks him to arrange 20 lakh rupees.

3 साल की फलक अपने अब्बू और अम्मी की इकलौती संतान है, जो एक दिन अचानक घर के दरवाजे के बाहर खेलते-खेलते गायब हो जाती है। पूरे मोहल्ले में उसको ढूंढने की कोशिश की जाती है और फलक के न मिलने पर पुलिस को बुलाया जाता है। पुलिस मोहल्ले के हर एक व्यक्ति से फलक के बारे में पूछती है और कुछ घरों की तलाशी भी लेती है, मगर कुछ पता नहीं चल पाता। आखिरकार फलक के अब्बू सलीम को फलक की फिरौती का फोन आता है और किडनैपर उनसे फलक के एवज में 75 लाख रुपये की मांग करता है। सलीम को ये सुनकर झटका लगता है और उसका कहना है कि इतने रुपयों के बारे में तो वह सोच भी नहीं सकता। उसे लग रहा है कि किसी ने गलती से फलक को किडनैप कर लिया है, क्योंकि वह तो इतने पैसे वाला है ही नहीं। सलीम का कहना है कि वह ज्यादा से ज्यादा 15 लाख का इंतजाम कर सकता है, तो किडनैपर उससे 20 लाख का इंतजाम करने को बोलता है।
