One morning, when Shalini, Naved’s wife, enters Jeetu’s (also known as Jitendra Arora) house, she finds it in ruins as if there has been a robbery. She immediately informs Naved, who lives in the house next to Jeetu’s, and the police are called. Upon arriving, the police find Jeetu and his son bound and gagged.

Jeetu’s wife Rekha, who was eight months pregnant, is found dead. The police begin an investigation and Jeetu confesses to killing Rekha during their interrogation. He explains that he did it to marry his sister-in-law Sangeet, as he never loved Rekha and had a desire to be with his sister-in-law. Jeetu and Rekha had also been quarreling over this issue.

जितेंद्र अरोड़ा उर्फ़ जीतू का भाई नवेद उसके घर के बग़ल वाले घर में रहता है. एक सुबह जब नवेद की पत्नी शलिनी जीतू के घर में घुसती है तो सब कुछ तहस नहस पाती है जैसे कि घर में कोई लूट हुई है. वो तुरंत नवेद को बताती है और पुलिस को बुलाया जाता है. पुलिस जीतू और उसके बेटे के मुँह पर टेप लगा पाती है और उनके हाथ भी बधे हुए हैं. जीतू की पत्नी रेखा जो की आठ महीने प्रेगनेण्ट थी, अब मर चुकी है.

पुलिस इन्वेस्टिगेशन शुरू करती है और केस शुरू होता है. पुलिस कोर्ट में बताती है की उनके सख़्ती से पूछताछ करने पर जीतू ने ये क़बूल किया है कि उसी ने अपनी पत्नी रेखा की हत्या की है और ये उसने अपनी साली संगीत के शादी करने के लिए किया है. उसके कहे अनुसार जीतू अपनी पत्नी को कभी भी नहीं चाहता था और साली से शादी करना चाहता था. ये बाद रेखा को पता चल गई थी और इसको लेकर आए दिन इनदोनो के बीच झगड़े होते रहते थे.
