मुंबई के एक सुनसान रेलवे यार्ड में सुबह-सुबह एक सिक्योरिटी गार्ड की नज़र खून से लथपथ एक लाश पर पड़ती है। मृत व्यक्ति के शरीर पर कई चाकुओं के निशान थे, लेकिन उसके पास कोई पहचान पत्र या सामान नहीं मिलता। पुलिस मौके पर पहुँचकर जांच शुरू करती है। गार्ड बताता है कि रात में यार्ड लगभग खाली रहता है और उसे किसी चीख या लड़ाई की आवाज़ सुनाई नहीं दी। सबसे हैरानी की बात यह थी कि उस आदमी की एंट्री भी रिकॉर्ड में दर्ज नहीं थी।

जांच के दौरान पुलिस को पता चलता है कि वह व्यक्ति किसी मजदूर की तरह चुपचाप रेलवे लाइन के रास्ते अंदर आया था। धीरे-धीरे मामला सिर्फ हत्या का नहीं, बल्कि एक बड़ी साजिश का रूप लेने लगता है। पुलिस मृतक की पहचान ढूँढने के लिए पुराने रिकॉर्ड, आसपास के इलाकों और रेलवे कर्मचारियों से पूछताछ करती है। हर सुराग उन्हें एक ऐसे सच के करीब ले जाता है, जहाँ लालच, धोखा और बेरहमी छिपी होती है। आखिरकार पुलिस को समझ आता है कि कातिल ने सबूत मिटाने की पूरी कोशिश की थी, लेकिन एक छोटी सी गलती ने पूरी सच्चाई सामने ला दी।

Early one morning, a security guard at a deserted railway yard in Mumbai discovered a blood-covered dead body lying near the tracks. The victim had been stabbed multiple times, yet there was no identification card or personal belonging near him. When the police arrived, they began investigating the mysterious murder.
