Jagmohan Mishra (played by Pawan Chopra) is a land contractor and dealer. He is chatting with a girl when his younger son Sunil enters the room. He shouts at him and warns him to enter the room only after knocking on the door. After that, he moves out of his room and goes to meet someone in his car. He is alone, driving the car. At some place, he stops his car and waits for someone. Four people on bikes come to him and start shooting him with guns. Jagmohan collapses at the same place. After the police arrive, they identify him with the help of his driving license. They call his sons Anil and Sunil and tell them that their father has been killed. Jagmohan’s sons cannot guess anything about the murder because he never shared anything with them.

Dhiren, Jagmohan’s assistant, tells the police that he was a land contractor. He had many enemies and never went anywhere without his driver/bodyguard Ajeet. So why did he leave somewhere without him? The police ask another land contractor with whom he had a fight a few days earlier. He also says that he has no reason to kill Jagmohan. Now the police learn that his wife Reshma was not living with him, and she does not know anything about Jagmohan’s murder. Besides this, Jagmohan’s younger son tells the police that a few days earlier, he saw his father chatting with a girl named Soniya Sinha (played by Poonam Rajput). But that girl’s account was deactivated after this murder. Now the police want to know who Soniya Sinha is. They also want to know why, a few years earlier, Jagmohan murdered his partner Paritosh and what the personal reason behind that murder was.

जगमोहन मिश्रा एक लैंड कॉन्ट्रैक्टर और डीलर है। वो अपने लैपटॉप पर किसी के साथ चैट कर रहा है कि अचानक उसका छोटा बेटा सुनील आ जाता है। वो सुनील को डांट कर भगा देता है और कहता है कि हमेशा दरवाज़ा खटखटा कर आया करो। इसके बाद वो अपनी कार से अकेले किसी से मिलने निकल पड़ता है। वो एक जगह खड़ा होकर किसी का इंतज़ार कर रहा है कि तभी 4 बाइक सवार हेलमेट लगाए लोग आते हैं और उस पर ताबड़तोड़ गोलियां चलाते हैं। जगमोहन की वहीं मौत हो जाती है। पुलिस पहुंचती है तो जगमोहन के ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस से उसकी पहचान करती है। उसके बेटों सुनील और अनिल को तुरंत पुलिस स्टेशन बुलाया जाता है और बताया जाता है कि जगमोहन की मौत हो चुकी है। पुलिस उसके बेटों से पूछती है कि क्या उन्हें किसी पर शक है, तो वे कहते हैं कि उनके पिता उन्हें कभी कुछ नहीं बताते थे और वे उनके कत्ल के बारे में कुछ नहीं बता सकते।

जगमोहन का असिस्टेंट धीरेन ये कहता है कि जगमोहन लैंड डीलिंग का काम करता था और उसके बहुत से दुश्मन थे। उसे ये भी समझ नहीं आ रहा है कि जगमोहन अकेले कैसे बाहर निकल सकता है, जबकि उसका ड्राइवर जो उसका बॉडीगार्ड भी है, उसका उसके साथ होना चाहिए था। जगमोहन बिना बॉडीगार्ड अजीत के कहीं नहीं जाता था, फिर वो उस दिन क्यों गया। पुलिस एक और लैंड डीलर जिससे जगमोहन की कुछ दिन पहले झड़प हुई थी, से पूछताछ करती है, मगर वो भी इनकार करता है। बाद में पुलिस को पता चलता है कि जगमोहन की पत्नी उससे अलग रहती थी, और उसे जगमोहन की मौत की खबर भी नहीं है। इसके अलावा उसका छोटा बेटा सुनील ये बताता है कि उसने अपने पिता को किसी सोनिया सिन्हा नाम की लड़की से चैट करते देखा था और जब जगमोहन की मौत के बाद उसने सोनिया सिन्हा का अकाउंट चेक किया तो वह डीएक्टिवेट हो चुका था। पुलिस अब इस कोशिश में है कि किसी तरह पता लगाया जाए कि सोनिया सिन्हा कौन है। इसके अलावा वो ये भी पता लगाना चाहती है कि कुछ साल पहले जगमोहन ने अपने पार्टनर परितोष की भी हत्या करवा दी थी, जिसके पीछे कोई पर्सनल वजह थी।

Story is based on the June 2014 killing of Land Broker Kundan in Ranchi, Jharkhand. Kundan was a former associate of Arvind Singh, and Kundan was accused of murdering Arvind as well. Arvind was killed because their thought processes were entirely different, and Kundan was falsely claiming that Arvind was having an affair with his wife.

Rohit and Rahul, sons of Arvind, planned the murder with the help of their friend Ganesh Arora. They also confessed that first, they hired goons to kill Kundan, but when they failed, they decided to kill Kundan on their own.
