Ichchadhari Naagin Case: Blind Faith, Politics and a Hidden Crime
The story begins in a village (real story of a village in Mathura, U.P.) where a young woman named Bhuri (real name Rajni, played by Ruchi Tripathi) is worshipped as a mythical shape-shifting serpent. What initially appears to be an unbelievable superstition soon attracts police attention when growing tensions between two villages turn the so-called miracle into a law-and-order problem. Both communities argue over where the divine serpent should remain, transforming blind faith into a dangerous public conflict.
As investigators question witnesses, they discover that very few people are actually concerned about Bhuri’s disappearance. Instead, the villagers firmly believe she has transformed into a supernatural being. Hariya and many others refuse to accept any logical explanation, while influential figures appear to benefit politically and financially from the growing devotion. Detectives begin suspecting that the myth was deliberately created to conceal a far more serious crime.
The investigation gradually uncovers links involving Mahesh, Omi, local elections, land disputes, donations, and hidden motives. Just when the mystery becomes even more complicated, a snake charmer publicly claims that he can transform the serpent back into a woman. His extraordinary announcement raises fresh questions and forces police to challenge the villagers’ beliefs, knowing that the real conspiracy still remains carefully hidden behind layers of deception.
कहानी की शुरुआत एक ऐसे गांव से होती है जहां भूरी नाम की युवती को इच्छाधारी नागिन मानकर उसकी पूजा की जा रही है। पुलिस को यह मामला पहले अजीब लगता है, लेकिन जल्द ही समझ आ जाता है कि इस अंधविश्वास के पीछे कोई बड़ा अपराध छिपा हो सकता है। दोनों गांवों के लोग इस बात पर भिड़ जाते हैं कि नागिन मैया की पूजा उसकी जन्मभूमि में होनी चाहिए या ससुराल वाले गांव में। धार्मिक आस्था के नाम पर विवाद इतना बढ़ जाता है कि कानून-व्यवस्था प्रभावित होने लगती है।
जांच के दौरान पुलिस को पता चलता है कि भूरी के गायब होने की किसी को वास्तविक चिंता नहीं है। अधिकांश लोग उसे इंसान नहीं बल्कि दिव्य नागिन मान चुके हैं। हरिया सहित कई ग्रामीण इस भ्रम में जी रहे हैं, जबकि कुछ प्रभावशाली लोग इस आस्था से सामाजिक और राजनीतिक लाभ उठाते दिखाई देते हैं। पुलिस को संदेह होता है कि भूरी के साथ हुई घटना को छिपाने के लिए योजनाबद्ध तरीके से यह कहानी गढ़ी गई है।
महेश, ओमी, पंचायत चुनाव, गांव की राजनीति, जमीन, चढ़ावे और रहस्यमयी घटनाएं जांच को लगातार उलझाती रहती हैं। इसी बीच एक सपेरा दावा करता है कि वह इच्छाधारी नागिन को दोबारा इंसान बना सकता है। उसके इस ऐलान के बाद मामला और भी रहस्यमय हो जाता है। पुलिस समझ जाती है कि अब इस अंधविश्वास को तोड़े बिना भूरी के साथ हुई सच्चाई तक पहुंचना संभव नहीं होगा, जबकि असली रहस्य अभी भी पर्दे के पीछे छिपा हुआ है।
