Driving Into Danger

Gaurav (real name Avijit, played by Siddharth Sen) and Ruchika (real name Maumita, played by Neetha Shetty) are childhood friends who are soon going to get married. Both belong to West Bengal and live in Delhi. Professionally, they are painters. Before their marriage, they plan a trip to Dehradun. The couple spend a few enjoyable days there. On the final day, after checking out from the hotel in the afternoon, they decide to spend a few more hours in the city as their train is scheduled to depart at 9 PM. They hire a taxi, and the driver (real name Raju Das, played by Sunil Saraswat) takes them to a riverside location to relax.

After some time, their parents try calling them, but both their phones are switched off. Their parents become worried because this behavior is unusual. After two days, the parents travel to Dehradun and file a missing complaint at the police station. The police contact the hotel where the couple stayed and learn that they had checked out on time and hired a cab for the railway station. The police then locate the taxi driver and question him about the couple. He tells them that he dropped them off according to their train schedule and does not know what happened afterward.

गौरव और रुचिका दोनों ही पेंटर हैं और बचपन से एक-दूसरे को जानते हैं। दोनों जल्द ही शादी करने वाले हैं। वे मूल रूप से बंगाल के रहने वाले हैं लेकिन दिल्ली में रहते हैं। शादी से पहले दोनों उत्तराखंड घूमने जाते हैं। वे जिस होटल में ठहरे होते हैं, वहीं उन्हें एक टैक्सी ड्राइवर मिलता है जो उन्हें अलग-अलग जगह घूमाने ले जाता है। पूरा टूर खत्म करने के बाद वे होटल से चेकआउट करते हैं और ट्रेन के समय से पहले कुछ समय नदी किनारे बिताने का फैसला करते हैं। इसके बाद अचानक दोनों से संपर्क टूट जाता है। उनके परिवार वाले परेशान हो जाते हैं क्योंकि दोनों अपने फोन नहीं उठा रहे होते। 2-3 दिन बीत जाने के बाद भी कोई खबर नहीं मिलती, तो दोनों के पिता देहरादून पहुँचकर पुलिस में गुमशुदगी की रिपोर्ट दर्ज कराते हैं। पुलिस सबसे पहले उस होटल से संपर्क करती है जहाँ वे रुके थे। इसके बाद पुलिस टैक्सी ड्राइवर से पूछताछ करती है, जो बताता है कि उसने दोनों को रेलवे स्टेशन छोड़ा था और उसके बाद उसे कुछ नहीं पता।
