योगेश एक महत्वाकांक्षी एक्टर है जो एक्टिंग की दुनिया में अपना भविष्य बनाना चाहता है। वह किसी तरह अपने घरवालों को मना लेता है कि वे उसे एक साल का समय दें ताकि वह एक्टर बन सके। इसी बीच सोशल नेटवर्किंग के माध्यम से योगेश की मुलाकात कथा लेखक (स्क्रिप्ट राइटर) संजय शर्मा से होती है, जो अपनी एक फिल्म के लिए नए चेहरे की तलाश में है। वह योगेश को अपना फोन नंबर देता है और मिलने के लिए कहता है। योगेश उससे मुलाकात करके कुछ दृश्यों पर काम करना शुरू कर देता है।

फिर एक दिन योगेश वापस घर नहीं लौटता। उसके घरवाले परेशान हो जाते हैं क्योंकि उसका फोन भी नहीं मिल रहा होता। काफी देर बाद उसके पिता के मोबाइल पर उसी के नंबर से एक कॉल आती है। आवाज़ योगेश की नहीं होती और कॉल करने वाला बताता है कि उसने योगेश का अपहरण कर लिया है तथा तीन लाख रुपये की फिरौती मांगता है। योगेश के पिता पुलिस को सूचित करते हैं। पुलिस जब योगेश के बारे में जानकारी जुटाती है तो पता चलता है कि वह संजय शर्मा नाम के एक स्क्रिप्ट राइटर के साथ काम कर रहा था, जो उसे अपनी फिल्म में मुख्य भूमिका देने वाला था। इसके बाद पुलिस संजय की इंटरनेट प्रोफाइल की मदद से उसके घर तक पहुंचती है। वहां पुलिस को योगेश की लाश एक बड़े बैग में बंद मिलती है जबकि संजय शर्मा फरार होता है।

Yogesh wants to start his career in acting and somehow convinces his parents to give him one year to pursue his dream. He meets script writer Sanjay Sharma through the internet, who is looking for a fresh face for his upcoming movie. After chatting for some time, Sanjay gives Yogesh his phone number and asks him to meet. Excited about the opportunity, Yogesh meets him and starts working on a few scenes.

After a few days, Yogesh does not return home. His parents become worried because this has never happened before. Later, his father receives a call from Yogesh’s number, but the voice is not Yogesh’s. The caller claims that Yogesh has been kidnapped and demands a ransom of three lakh rupees.

Victim and accused in the Yogesh murder case

Yogesh’s father informs the police. During the investigation, he explains that Yogesh had been working with script writer Sanjay Sharma for the past few days and was expecting an important role in his upcoming project. He also tells the police that Yogesh had connected with Sanjay through a social networking site.

Police trace Sanjay through his online profile. Upon reaching his flat, they discover Yogesh’s dead body inside a large suitcase, while Sanjay Sharma is nowhere to be found.
