Pune Double Murder | पुणे दोहरा हत्याकांड

Couple Mansi and Dr. Sanjay Mehra argue almost every day because Sanjay is involved in an illicit relationship with Maya Ghorpade, a worker at his clinic. Maya is a divorcee who later remarried an electrician and is the mother of a son. Mansi and Sanjay have a daughter. Tensions between Mansi and Sanjay continue to rise because, according to Maya, their daughter is growing up and has started understanding the nature of Sanjay’s relationship with her.
Meanwhile, an assailant attacks Maya and her family. He attempts to shoot her, but his country-made firearm malfunctions, allowing Maya and her family to escape unharmed.
The incident is reported to the police, and it is confirmed that the attacker was carrying a country-made revolver. Maya also informs the police about her relationship with Dr. Sanjay and suspects that Mansi may have orchestrated the attack in an effort to separate her from him.
The same assailant attempts to target Maya again, but she narrowly escapes because she is under police protection. The police pursue the attacker and manage to get a brief look at his face. During the investigation, they discover that the man had previously visited Dr. Sanjay’s clinic as a patient.

मानसी बहुत परेशान रहती है क्योंकि उसके पति डॉक्टर संजय मेहरा के उसकी क्लिनिक की सहायक माया घोरपड़े के साथ वर्षों से नाजायज़ संबंध हैं। इसी बात को लेकर दोनों के बीच आए दिन झगड़े होते रहते हैं। माया तलाकशुदा है, जिसे उसके पहले पति ने वर्षों पहले छोड़ दिया था। अब वह अपने दूसरे पति के साथ रहती है, जो पेशे से एक इलेक्ट्रीशियन है। माया का एक बेटा है, जबकि संजय और मानसी की एक बेटी है। मानसी को इस बात की चिंता रहती है कि उनकी बेटी अब बड़ी हो रही है और अपने पिता के अवैध संबंधों को समझने लगी है।
इन्हीं परिस्थितियों के बीच एक दिन माया, उसके पति और उसके बेटे पर जानलेवा हमला किया जाता है, लेकिन हमलावर की बंदूक जाम हो जाने के कारण वे बच जाते हैं। घटना की रिपोर्ट पुलिस में दर्ज कराई जाती है और यह पुष्टि होती है कि हमलावर के पास देसी कट्टा था। कुछ दिनों बाद माया पुलिस को अपने और डॉक्टर संजय के संबंधों के बारे में भी बताती है और शक जताती है कि यह हमला शायद मानसी ने करवाया हो।
इस हमले के कुछ दिन बाद माया पर दोबारा हमला किया जाता है, लेकिन इस बार भी वह बच जाती है क्योंकि उसके आसपास पुलिस सुरक्षा तैनात होती है। पुलिस हमलावर का पीछा करती है और पीछा करते समय इंस्पेक्टर उसका चेहरा देख लेता है। बाद में डॉक्टर की क्लिनिक की फुटेज देखने पर वही व्यक्ति उसमें दिखाई देता है।
