Shalu (real name Neelu Khatoon) is a five-year-old girl living in Khirki Extension, Delhi, with her mother Mumtaz (real name Jamila Khatoon) and her father Nasir (real name Akhtar Alam). Nasir is Mumtaz’s second husband and Shalu’s stepfather.

Shalu shares a close bond with Nasir, but she never calls him “Abbu.” Whenever someone asks her about her father’s name, she always mentions her biological father, Shabbir.

One evening, Shalu suddenly goes missing. Mumtaz had last seen her playing in a park near their home.

The family files an FIR with the police, and during the initial investigation, the police begin to suspect Nasir because he is not Shalu’s biological father. However, further investigation eventually confirms that Nasir is not involved in the disappearance.

After two years, in 2012, the police receive information through ZIPNET (Zonal Integrated Police Network) and discover Shalu in Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh.
Now the police try to contact Mumtaz and Nasir, but they discover that the family has already left their old house.

What happens next?
