Manish Raj Sharma is an Indian television actor known for his impactful performances in crime-based shows, particularly *Crime Patrol*. Born in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, he comes from a non-film background, where his father worked as a lecturer. Despite this, Manish developed a strong inclination toward becoming a public figure from an early age. His journey into acting was influenced by his elder brother, Sanjay Swaraj, an actor and graduate of the National School of Drama. Spending time around NSD exposed Manish to theatre and performance, gradually shaping his interest in acting. Before entering the entertainment industry, he was also passionate about sports, especially hockey, where he played as a centre forward and even considered pursuing it at a higher level.
Manish eventually moved to Mumbai to pursue acting. His performances were so convincing that audiences often mistook him for a real-life cop and approached him with real problems. The show brought him recognition and established him as a familiar face on Indian television. 
Over the years, Manish has also appeared in projects like *Dharmakshetra* and *Khotey Sikkey*, demonstrating his versatility across genres. Despite facing setbacks—such as losing roles at the last moment or missing film opportunities due to prior commitments—he remained committed to his work ethic and principles.
