Several respected townspeople, including Sharada Prasad and Shailendra Kumar, also claimed to have witnessed the terrifying figure. Some described it as fifteen feet tall, while others insisted its glowing eyes looked inhuman.

But Byomkesh immediately senses that something about the “ghost” feels unnatural. If it was truly a spirit, why did it always appear near the same window? And why did it seem as though it was searching for something inside the room?
