A stolen mobile phone turns a pregnant woman’s life into a nightmare
मुंबई की एक वास्तविक घटना
पीड़िता कांदिवली की रहने वाली थी जिसने मुंबई से लखनऊ जाते समय ट्रेन में एक कस्टमर सैटिस्फैक्शन फॉर्म भरा था। उसी फॉर्म के जरिए आरोपी सैयद मोहम्मद मंसूरी को उसका नंबर मिला। बाद में उसने उससे जान-पहचान बढ़ाई और उसके मोबाइल का गलत इस्तेमाल करके उसे ब्लैकमेल करना शुरू कर दिया।
Jasmin (played by Prinal Oberoi) is pregnant and lives in Pune with her daughter Amreen and husband Farhan, a businessman. One day, while Jasmin is taking a bath, her mobile phone goes missing from the dining table. During that time, a man named Nadeem visits her house but leaves after learning that she is bathing. Jasmin asks her daughter Amreen if she knows anything about the missing phone.
Jasmin searches for her phone in the market along with her daughter but fails to recover it. Farhan asks her not to worry and gets her a new mobile phone with the same number.
After getting her new phone, Jasmin calls her relatives and friends, but everyone behaves strangely with her. Later, one of her friends informs her that Nadeem has been calling people and spreading false rumors that Jasmin is having an affair with him and that the baby she is carrying belongs to him.
Jasmin realizes that Nadeem had stolen her phone while she was bathing. When she confronts him, Nadeem demands 10 lakh rupees and threatens to reveal these lies to Farhan if she refuses to pay.
Nadeem worked for a local survey company where his job was to contact people who filled customer feedback forms. The episode is inspired by a real incident from Mumbai involving a woman from Kandivali who filled out a customer satisfaction form while traveling from Mumbai to Lucknow by train. She had written her name and mobile number on the form.
The accused, Syyed Mohd Mansuri, liked her handwriting and wanted to meet her. He slowly gained her trust and even visited her home once under the pretext of delivering reservation tickets. During one of his visits, he stole her mobile phone.
Using the stolen phone, Mansuri contacted people from her contact list and falsely claimed that he was in an illicit relationship with her. He later started blackmailing her for 5 lakh rupees.
जास्मिन पुणे में रहती है। उसकी एक बेटी अमरीन है और उसका पति फरहान एक व्यापारी है। जास्मिन गर्भवती है। एक दिन जब वह नहा रही होती है, तभी उसके घर की घंटी बजती है। अमरीन बताती है कि नदीम अंकल आए थे लेकिन माँ के नहाने की वजह से वापस चले गए। इसके बाद जास्मिन अपना मोबाइल ढूंढती है, मगर वह नहीं मिलता।
वह फरहान को पूरी बात बताती है और मार्केट में भी मोबाइल खोजती है, लेकिन फोन नहीं मिलता। बाद में फरहान उसी नंबर के साथ उसे नया मोबाइल दिला देता है।
नया मोबाइल मिलने के बाद जब जास्मिन अपने रिश्तेदारों और दोस्तों को फोन करती है तो सब उससे अजीब व्यवहार करते हैं। बाद में उसकी एक दोस्त बताती है कि नदीम नाम का एक व्यक्ति लोगों को फोन करके कह रहा है कि जास्मिन का उसके साथ अवैध संबंध है और उसके पेट में पल रहा बच्चा उसी का है।
जास्मिन समझ जाती है कि उसका मोबाइल नदीम ने ही चुराया था। जब वह नदीम को फोन करती है तो वह उससे 10 लाख रुपये मांगता है और धमकी देता है कि पैसे न मिलने पर वह फरहान को सब कुछ बता देगा।
