The story is based on a shocking case from Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, reported in May 2013. It revolves around greed, family disputes, and the devastating consequences of an inheritance battle.
Arjun Chauhan and Raju Chauhan are brothers who live with their parents in a village. Their father owns a fertile piece of agricultural land, which is the family’s most valuable asset. However, he is deeply worried about his sons’ irresponsible behavior. Neither Arjun nor Raju has a stable source of income, and he fears that they may sell the land for quick money if it falls into their hands.
To protect the family’s future, he transfers ownership of the land to his wife instead of his sons. This decision angers both brothers. They believe that the property rightfully belongs to them and begin resenting their parents for keeping control of the land.
After their father’s death, the family’s financial condition deteriorates further. Struggling to manage household expenses, their mother mortgages a portion of the land to raise money. Over time, she realizes that she will not be able to repay the debt and decides that selling the land may be the only practical solution.
Arjun and Raju strongly oppose her decision. They see the land as their future inheritance and refuse to let it be sold. Tensions within the family continue to rise, eventually leading to a tragic incident that changes everything.
The brothers are arrested and spend several months in jail before securing bail. Even after their release, their lives remain directionless. With no employment opportunities in the village, Arjun advises Raju to move to Lucknow in search of work. Raju leaves home and starts earning a modest living as a daily wage laborer, while Arjun stays behind to manage the remaining land.
Inheritance dispute between two brothersMonths pass, and Raju gradually begins to suspect that Arjun is hiding something from him. While he struggles to survive in another city, Arjun appears to be benefiting from decisions made back home. Then Raju learns something that leaves him stunned—his share of the land has allegedly been sold without his knowledge.
What follows is a chain of events driven by betrayal, greed, and broken trust. Old wounds resurface, family relationships collapse, and the dispute over inheritance takes an even darker turn.
As investigators begin piecing together the story, they uncover a family divided by property and ambition. But the deeper they dig, the more complicated the case becomes. Every person involved seems to have a motive, and every answer leads to new questions.

यह कहानी मई 2013 में उत्तर प्रदेश के बुलंदशहर में सामने आए एक वास्तविक मामले से प्रेरित है। यह कहानी लालच, पारिवारिक विवाद और संपत्ति के लिए टूटते रिश्तों की भयावह तस्वीर पेश करती है।
अर्जुन चौहान और राजू चौहान दो भाई हैं। उनके पिता के पास उपजाऊ कृषि भूमि है जो परिवार की सबसे बड़ी संपत्ति मानी जाती है। लेकिन पिता को अपने दोनों बेटों पर भरोसा नहीं है क्योंकि वे कोई स्थायी काम नहीं करते। उन्हें डर है कि यदि जमीन बेटों के नाम कर दी गई तो वे उसे बेचकर पैसा उड़ा देंगे।
इसी कारण वह अपनी जमीन अपनी पत्नी के नाम कर जाते हैं। यह फैसला अर्जुन और राजू दोनों को पसंद नहीं आता। दोनों भाइयों के मन में धीरे-धीरे नाराजगी और लालच घर करने लगता है।
पिता की मृत्यु के बाद परिवार की आर्थिक स्थिति और खराब हो जाती है। घर चलाने के लिए उनकी मां जमीन का एक हिस्सा गिरवी रख देती हैं। समय बीतने के साथ उन्हें एहसास होता है कि अब जमीन छुड़ाना संभव नहीं है, इसलिए वह उसे बेचने का निर्णय लेती हैं।
मगर अर्जुन और राजू इस फैसले के खिलाफ खड़े हो जाते हैं। उनके लिए जमीन केवल खेती का साधन नहीं बल्कि भविष्य की संपत्ति है। परिवार के भीतर तनाव बढ़ता जाता है और एक दिन यह विवाद एक ऐसी घटना में बदल जाता है जो पूरे गांव को झकझोर देती है।
कुछ समय जेल में बिताने के बाद दोनों भाई जमानत पर बाहर आ जाते हैं। लेकिन उनकी जिंदगी में कोई खास बदलाव नहीं आता। अर्जुन गांव में रहकर जमीन की देखभाल करता है, जबकि राजू को रोजगार की तलाश में लखनऊ भेज दिया जाता है।
राजू दिन-रात मेहनत करके अपना गुजारा करता है, लेकिन धीरे-धीरे उसे महसूस होने लगता है कि अर्जुन उससे कुछ छिपा रहा है। गांव से आने वाली खबरें उसके मन में शक पैदा करने लगती हैं।
फिर एक दिन उसे पता चलता है कि उसके हिस्से की जमीन उसके बिना बताए बेच दी गई है। यह खबर उसके पैरों तले जमीन खिसका देती है। उसे समझ नहीं आता कि उसका अपना भाई उसके साथ ऐसा कैसे कर सकता है।
इसके बाद शुरू होती है धोखे, लालच और बदले की एक ऐसी कहानी, जिसमें हर मोड़ पर रिश्ते कमजोर पड़ते दिखाई देते हैं। पुलिस की जांच जैसे-जैसे आगे बढ़ती है, वैसे-वैसे परिवार के कई छिपे हुए राज सामने आने लगते हैं।
क्या राजू को इंसाफ मिलेगा? क्या अर्जुन ने सचमुच अपने भाई को धोखा दिया? और आखिर संपत्ति की इस लड़ाई का अंत किस मोड़ पर जाकर हुआ?
इन सवालों के जवाब इस कहानी को एक साधारण पारिवारिक विवाद से कहीं ज्यादा खतरनाक बना देते हैं।
