Few children discover a charred body near a dumping ground where they were playing. Police confirm that the victim is a woman aged around 60 years. During the post-mortem examination, investigators discover evidence of a hip replacement surgery, including a medicated metal rod implanted in her body. The rod contains a serial number and vendor information, allowing police to trace it back to the hospital where the surgery was performed. Hospital records identify the deceased as Zahira Ansari, whose operation had been sponsored by a charitable trust.
Police then locate the NGO that arranged Zahira’s treatment. They learn that Zahira worked as a scrap collector and stored discarded items inside her home. When officers inspect her residence, they are shocked by the enormous amount of clutter and garbage accumulated inside.
During the search, police recover jewelry and approximately ₹6,000 in cash. Further inquiries reveal that Zahira was actually a wealthy woman. According to local residents, she had purchased a flat for ₹16 lakh in cash and later sold it for ₹18 lakh. She was known for helping needy people and reportedly donated the entire ₹18 lakh toward the construction of a mosque, inspiring others to contribute as well.

एक कूड़ाघर के पास खेल रहे बच्चों को एक जली हुई लाश मिलती है। पुलिस जांच में पता चलता है कि यह लगभग 60–65 वर्ष की एक महिला की लाश है। पोस्टमॉर्टम के दौरान उसकी बॉडी में लगी धातु की रॉड मिलती है, जिससे पता चलता है कि उसकी हिप रिप्लेसमेंट सर्जरी हुई थी। पुलिस रॉड के सीरियल नंबर की मदद से अस्पताल तक पहुंचती है और मृतका की पहचान ज़ाहिरा अंसारी के रूप में होती है।
अस्पताल से जानकारी मिलती है कि ज़ाहिरा का ऑपरेशन एक ट्रस्ट की सहायता से हुआ था। पुलिस उस एनजीओ तक पहुंचती है जिसने इलाज में मदद की थी। वहां से पता चलता है कि ज़ाहिरा कूड़ा बीनने का काम करती थी। उसके घर की तलाशी में पुलिस को चारों ओर कूड़ा-कचरा भरा मिलता है।
जांच के दौरान पुलिस को कुछ गहने और लगभग छह हजार रुपये नकद भी मिलते हैं। स्थानीय लोग बताते हैं कि ज़ाहिरा वास्तव में काफी संपन्न थी। उसने कुछ समय पहले सोलह लाख रुपये नकद देकर एक फ्लैट खरीदा था और बाद में उसे अठारह लाख रुपये में बेच दिया। इसके बाद उसने पूरी राशि एक मस्जिद के निर्माण के लिए दान कर दी थी।
