The Vishal Surve Kidnapping Case
Vishal Surve (played by Meghan Jadhav) is the son of a wealthy businessman. One evening, as part of his usual routine, he leaves home for a walk after dinner. When he fails to return even after an hour, his mother becomes worried and calls his father. Initially, he dismisses her concerns, but later that night he receives a text message from Vishal’s phone stating that Vishal has been kidnapped.
When the family attempts to call him back, his phone is switched off.
Vishal’s parents immediately inform the police, who begin a preliminary investigation. Shortly afterward, Vishal’s father receives a call from a man using Vishal’s phone. The caller demands a ransom of ₹3 crore and claims that he is taking revenge on Vishal for the suffering allegedly caused to his own children.
The kidnappers later send Vishal’s father a memory card along with a handwritten letter.
In the letter, Vishal pleads with his father to rescue him as quickly as possible. The memory card contains a video recording in which Vishal is seen desperately requesting help and urging his family to arrange his release.
Despite extensive efforts, the police fail to uncover any significant leads. As the investigation grows more complex, the case is eventually transferred to the Crime Branch.
विशाल सुर्वे एक अमीर व्यवसायी का बेटा है, जो रोज़ की तरह रात के खाने के बाद टहलने के लिए घर से निकलता है। एक घंटे से अधिक समय बीत जाने के बाद भी जब वह वापस नहीं लौटता, तो उसकी मां चिंतित हो जाती है। वह उसके पिता को फोन करती है, लेकिन शुरुआत में वह इस बात को गंभीरता से नहीं लेते।
रात में विशाल के पिता के मोबाइल पर एक संदेश आता है, जिसमें लिखा होता है कि विशाल का अपहरण कर लिया गया है। जब वे उसे फोन करने की कोशिश करते हैं, तो उसका मोबाइल बंद मिलता है।
विशाल के माता-पिता तुरंत पुलिस को सूचना देते हैं और जांच शुरू होती है। कुछ समय बाद एक अपहरणकर्ता विशाल के फोन से कॉल करता है और तीन करोड़ रुपये की फिरौती मांगता है। वह दावा करता है कि वह अपने बच्चों के साथ हुए अन्याय का बदला विशाल से ले रहा है।
बाद में अपहरणकर्ता विशाल के पिता को एक मेमोरी कार्ड और एक पत्र भेजता है। पत्र में विशाल अपने पिता से जल्द से जल्द उसे छुड़ाने की गुहार लगाता है। मेमोरी कार्ड में भी विशाल का एक वीडियो होता है, जिसमें वह अपनी रिहाई के लिए मदद मांगता दिखाई देता है।
पुलिस को मामले में कोई ठोस सुराग नहीं मिलता, इसलिए जांच आगे चलकर क्राइम ब्रांच को सौंप दी जाती है।
