मर्दानी | Mardaani
The story is based on IPS officer Meeran Borwankar, who is currently designated as the Police Commissioner of Pune. Borwankar was the first-ever woman to be posted as the Commissioner of Mumbai Crime Branch. She hails from Fazilka, Punjab, and completed her matriculation from DC College, Fazilka.
After that, she completed her Master’s Degree in Literature from Lyallpur Khalsa College and pursued post-graduation from DAV College. Her father, Mr. O. P. Chaddha, worked with the BSF till 1971 in Fazilka.
