It was in May 2014 when the police found the body of a man under Raheja Bridge in Mahim. During the investigation, the police discovered a very strange reason behind the killing.
The corpse belonged to a man named Asif Rabiullah Shaikh, who used some apps installed on his mobile phone to change faces in pornographic pictures of girls. Asif had done the same with a photograph of a friend’s wife. The photograph eventually reached Nandigram and was seen by the woman’s husband through social media.
Meanwhile, when Asif went to Nandigram, the woman’s husband asked him who had done it. Asif denied having anything to do with it and said that it must have been done by his roommates, Islam Imran Mohammad alias Totan and Zakhira Alam Sheikh.
The woman’s husband threatened Zakhira over the phone, but Zakhira kept insisting that it was not him and that Asif was the one who had done it.
After all these allegations, Zakhira decided to teach Asif a lesson. Meanwhile, Asif had to go to jail in a molestation case, and Zakhira waited for his release.
