Disha Vertak (played by Sanya Bansal), an interior designer, suddenly goes missing. She lives with her mother and elder sister Neha Katkar and has been in a relationship with a Muslim man named Akram. The couple wants to get married, but Disha’s mother strongly opposes the relationship because she does not want her daughter to marry outside her religion. Despite their long-term relationship, her mother refuses to give her consent.
Disha’s brother-in-law, Arvind (played by Sandeep Shridhar), lives separately, while Neha continues to stay with her mother and younger sister. After Disha goes missing, the police consider her mother their prime suspect. A strict mother who always opposed Disha’s relationship could have a motive behind her disappearance, or perhaps Disha was involved with someone else and chose to run away.
The investigation reveals that Disha and Akram regularly met in a park near their locality. On the day Disha disappeared, she was seen speaking with an unidentified person shortly after meeting Akram. That mysterious individual becomes a key person of interest because nobody knows who they were.
As the investigation progresses, the police uncover the reason why Neha is living away from her husband and how another woman, Sunita Katkar (played by Resha Konkar), is connected to the entire case.
दिशा वर्तक एक इंटीरियर डिज़ाइनर है जो अपनी माँ और बड़ी बहन नेहा कटकर के साथ रहती है। दिशा एक दिन शाम को अचानक गायब हो जाती है। उसकी मिसिंग रिपोर्ट दर्ज होने के बाद पुलिस को पता चलता है कि दिशा का अकरम नाम के एक व्यक्ति के साथ कई वर्षों से प्रेम संबंध था, जिसे लेकर उसकी माँ उससे नाराज़ रहती थी। उसकी माँ कभी नहीं चाहती थी कि दिशा किसी दूसरे धर्म के व्यक्ति से शादी करे। दिशा के गायब होने के बाद पुलिस सबसे पहले अकरम को हिरासत में लेकर पूछताछ करती है, लेकिन अकरम यही कहता है कि उसे भी नहीं पता कि दिशा कहाँ है और उनके रिश्ते में कोई समस्या नहीं थी।
पुलिस को शक होता है कि यह कहीं ऑनर किलिंग का मामला तो नहीं, जिसमें एक माँ ने अपनी बेटी की हत्या इसलिए करवा दी हो ताकि वह एक मुस्लिम युवक से शादी न कर सके। इसके अलावा पुलिस को यह भी अजीब लगता है कि दिशा की बहन नेहा अपने पति के साथ न रहकर मायके में क्यों रहती है। दिशा के बैंक खाते की जाँच में पता चलता है कि उसमें छह से आठ लाख रुपये की बड़ी राशि जमा की गई थी, जिसे बाद में एक बिल्डर को ट्रांसफर कर दिया गया। बिल्डर से पूछताछ में मालूम होता है कि दिशा ने अपने और अपनी बहन नेहा के नाम पर एक फ्लैट बुक कराया था, लेकिन बाकी रकम न चुकाने के कारण उसका कब्ज़ा अभी तक नहीं मिला। अब सवाल यह उठता है कि दिशा के पास इतनी बड़ी रकम आई कहाँ से।
इसके अलावा पुलिस को पता चलता है कि जिस दिन दिशा गायब हुई, उस दिन वह पार्क में अकरम से मिलने के बाद किसी अन्य व्यक्ति से बात करती देखी गई थी। उस व्यक्ति से बातचीत के बाद ही वह रहस्यमय तरीके से लापता हो गई। किसी ने भी उस व्यक्ति का चेहरा नहीं देखा था, इसलिए उसकी पहचान एक पहेली बनी रहती है। पुलिस को यह भी पता चलता है कि नेहा अपने पति से अलग क्यों रह रही है और इस पूरे मामले में सुनीता कटकर नाम की महिला की क्या भूमिका है।
