मंत्रीपुर के एक खेत में मेड़ तोड़ने का काम चल रहा था, जब मजदूरों को मिट्टी के नीचे एक युवती का शव मिला। शव की हालत बेहद खराब थी और उसका चेहरा इतनी बुरी तरह कुचला गया था कि पहचान करना लगभग असंभव था।
पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और जांच शुरू की। आसपास के गांवों में किसी लड़की के लापता होने की कोई सूचना नहीं मिली। ऐसे में पहचान स्थापित करना जांच की पहली चुनौती बन गया।
स्थानीय मुखबिरों और आसपास के थानों की मदद से पुलिस को पता चला कि पड़ोसी इलाके से हिना खान नाम की एक कॉलेज छात्रा कुछ दिनों से लापता थी। जब उसके माता-पिता को बुलाकर शव के कपड़े दिखाए गए, तो उन्होंने उन्हें हिना के कपड़े के रूप में पहचान लिया।
परिवार ने बताया कि हिना उस दिन कॉलेज के लिए घर से निकली थी, लेकिन वापस नहीं लौटी। उसकी सहेलियों आरज़ू और नग़मा ने भी यही कहा कि हिना का किसी लड़के से कोई संबंध नहीं था और वह केवल पढ़ाई पर ध्यान देती थी।
जांचकर्ताओं के लिए यह मामला और भी उलझन भरा था क्योंकि हत्या का कोई स्पष्ट कारण दिखाई नहीं दे रहा था।
इसी बीच गांव में एक और रहस्यमयी घटना घटती है। एक इलाके में अचानक आसमान से पत्थरों की बारिश होने लगती है। लोग घबराकर इधर-उधर भागने लगते हैं और इसी अफरा-तफरी के बीच आदि नाम के एक छोटे बच्चे का अपहरण हो जाता है।
अब पुलिस के सामने दो अलग-अलग लेकिन बेहद रहस्यमय घटनाएं थीं। क्या हिना खान की हत्या और आदि के अपहरण के बीच कोई संबंध था, या दोनों घटनाएं महज संयोग थीं?
जैसे-जैसे जांच आगे बढ़ती है, पुलिस को ऐसे सुराग मिलने लगते हैं जो पूरे मामले को एक अप्रत्याशित दिशा में ले जाते हैं।

The police now found themselves dealing with two puzzling mysteries at the same time. Were Hina’s murder and Aadi’s kidnapping somehow connected, or were they completely unrelated crimes?
The search for answers gradually uncovers shocking secrets that nobody in the village could have imagined.
