One morning, Shalini, the wife of Naved, enters the house of her neighbour Jeetu (also known as Jitendra Arora) and finds the entire house ransacked as though a robbery has taken place. Alarmed by the scene, she immediately informs Naved, who lives next door, and the police are called.
When officers arrive at the house, they discover Jeetu and his son bound and gagged. However, the situation takes a far more disturbing turn when they find Jeetu’s wife, Rekha Arora, dead inside the house. Rekha was eight months pregnant at the time of her death.
The police begin investigating what initially appears to be a robbery gone wrong. However, during questioning, inconsistencies in Jeetu’s statements raise suspicion. As the investigation progresses, officers uncover shocking details about his personal life and strained relationship with Rekha.

During interrogation, Jeetu eventually confesses to murdering Rekha. He tells investigators that he wanted to marry his sister-in-law, Sangeet, and no longer wished to remain with his wife. According to his statement, he never truly loved Rekha and wanted to build a future with Sangeet instead.
The investigation reveals that Rekha had become aware of Jeetu’s intentions, and the couple frequently argued about the issue. As tensions escalated, the conflict ultimately led to a crime that destroyed an entire family.
The courtroom proceedings focus on whether Jeetu’s confession, motive, and the evidence collected by police are sufficient to prove his guilt beyond doubt.
जितेंद्र अरोड़ा उर्फ़ जीतू का भाई नवेद उसके घर के बगल वाले मकान में रहता है। एक सुबह जब नवेद की पत्नी शालिनी जीतू के घर में प्रवेश करती है, तो उसे पूरा घर बुरी तरह बिखरा हुआ दिखाई देता है, मानो वहां लूटपाट हुई हो। वह तुरंत नवेद को सूचना देती है और पुलिस को बुलाया जाता है।

जांच के दौरान पुलिस को जीतू के बयानों में कई विरोधाभास दिखाई देते हैं। सख्ती से पूछताछ करने पर वह स्वीकार करता है कि उसी ने रेखा की हत्या की थी। उसके अनुसार वह अपनी साली संगीत से शादी करना चाहता था और इसी बात को लेकर पति-पत्नी के बीच अक्सर विवाद होता रहता था।
मामले की सुनवाई के दौरान अदालत के सामने यह प्रश्न रखा जाता है कि क्या जीतू की स्वीकारोक्ति और पुलिस द्वारा जुटाए गए सबूत उसकी दोषसिद्धि के लिए पर्याप्त हैं।
