Vikas Chaudhary, a successful cement businessman from Jaganpur, is found dead in a banana plantation. Initially, the post-mortem doctor, Ashwin Gupta, declares it a hit-and-run accident. However, Inspector Rajput notices strangulation marks on Vikas’ neck, which the doctor had conveniently overlooked. The doctor later confesses that he received a threatening phone call before the body arrived, forcing him to label the murder as an accident.
The investigation reveals that Vikas had a strained relationship with his cousin brother, Gyani Chaudhary, over a property dispute. Gyani and his son, Kundan, had supported Manisha Prajapati, who defeated Vikas’ wife, Sarita, in the village head elections by just 13 votes. Sarita suspects Gyani’s involvement in the murder.
However, a mysterious informant leads the police to a new suspect: Payal Bajpai, a married woman with whom Vikas was having an affair. The couple used to meet at Hotel K9. A man named Suraj Dalmia was secretly photographing them. Suraj reveals that he was hired by Manisha Prajapati to spy on Vikas and Payal, possibly to blackmail Vikas during the elections.
As the investigation deepens, the police realize that someone is playing a psychological game with them, feeding clues to mislead them from the real culprit. The editor of Jaganpur Times, Naresh Pachauri, points fingers at Deepika Rai, the district president of the Lok Adhikar Party, who had proposed Sarita’s candidacy. The case becomes a maze of political rivalry, personal vendettas, and hidden agendas. Who killed Vikas Chaudhary? The answer awaits in the concluding episode.
