Dolly belongs to Delhi and has been 2nd runner up in 2012 Miss Delhi contest. She did her final studies from Delhi University and then she moved to Mayanagri Mumbai to pursue her dream to become an actress. She has also been winner of o2c Photogenic Face and Smile award contest.

Dolly started her Bollywood career with 2016 movie Luv Shuv Pyar Vyar which went average but before that she did a talugu movie Full Moon as well.

As per her television career, she was shortlisted for a role in Color's Thapki Pyar Ki. As she said due to delay from the production house she turned down the offer.

Her favorite actors are Salman Khan and Siddharth Malhotra and actresses are Kangana Ranaut, Priyanka Chopra, Mila Kunis, and Emma Stone.
