मुंबई के काजरत इलाके में एक नाले से एक युवक और एक युवती की लाशें बरामद होती हैं। स्थानीय लोगों की सूचना पर पुलिस मौके पर पहुंचती है और जांच शुरू करती है। तलाशी के दौरान युवक के पास से उसका आधार कार्ड मिलता है, जिससे उसकी पहचान अंकित राणे के रूप में होती है।
युवती के पास कोई पहचान पत्र नहीं मिलता, लेकिन जब पुलिस अंकित के माता-पिता को बुलाती है, तो वे युवती की पहचान निधि पवार के रूप में करते हैं। वे बताते हैं कि निधि अंकित की प्रेमिका थी और दोनों एक-दूसरे को लंबे समय से जानते थे।
पुलिस सबसे पहले दोनों परिवारों से पूछताछ करती है। इसके बाद जांच निधि के पूर्व प्रेमी सागर और अंकित की पूर्व प्रेमिका तक पहुंचती है। हालांकि किसी के पास ऐसा कोई कारण या जानकारी नहीं होती जिससे मौत का रहस्य सुलझ सके।
Actress Neetha Shettyसागर पुलिस को बताता है कि उसका और निधि का रिश्ता केवल शारीरिक संबंधों तक सीमित था और उनके बीच प्रेम जैसी कोई बात नहीं थी। दूसरी ओर, अंकित की पूर्व प्रेमिका बताती है कि ब्रेकअप के बाद उसे राहत महसूस हुई क्योंकि अंकित बेहद अधिकार जताने वाला और नियंत्रित करने वाला स्वभाव रखता था।
जांच के दौरान पुलिस को पता चलता है कि मौत से पहले दोनों को रेलवे स्टेशन पर साथ देखा गया था। सीसीटीवी फुटेज में निधि किसी बात को लेकर नाराज दिखाई देती है। दोनों ने एक लोकल ट्रेन पकड़ी और उसके बाद उनका कोई पता नहीं चला।
पोस्टमॉर्टम रिपोर्ट मामले को नया मोड़ देती है। रिपोर्ट के अनुसार निधि की मौत अंकित से लगभग दो घंटे पहले हुई थी। जांच में यह भी स्पष्ट हो जाता है कि निधि की हत्या की गई थी, जबकि अंकित की मौत आत्महत्या थी।
अब पुलिस के सामने सबसे बड़ा सवाल यह था कि निधि की हत्या किसने की और उसकी मौत के बाद अंकित ने आत्महत्या क्यों की। दोनों मौतों के बीच क्या संबंध था, और उनकी आखिरी यात्रा उन्हें किस रहस्यमयी जगह तक ले गई?
जैसे-जैसे जांच आगे बढ़ती है, पुलिस को ऐसे सुराग मिलते हैं जो रिश्तों, विश्वासघात और छिपे हुए सच की एक जटिल कहानी को सामने लाते हैं।
Two bodies, one male and one female, are discovered in a drain in the Kajrat area of Mumbai. Police arrive at the scene and begin their investigation. An Aadhaar card found in the man’s wallet identifies him as Ankit Rane.
The female victim initially remains unidentified. However, when Ankit’s parents are called to assist with identification, they recognize her as Nidhi Pawar, Ankit’s girlfriend.
Investigators begin by questioning both families before expanding their inquiry to Nidhi’s former boyfriend, Sagar, and Ankit’s ex-girlfriend. Neither appears to have direct knowledge of what happened.
Sagar claims that his relationship with Nidhi was purely physical and that there was no emotional attachment between them. Meanwhile, Ankit’s former girlfriend describes him as extremely possessive and says she felt relieved after ending the relationship.
Further investigation reveals that Ankit and Nidhi were seen together at a railway station shortly before their deaths. CCTV footage shows Nidhi appearing upset about something. The couple boarded a local train and then disappeared from public view.
The postmortem report dramatically changes the direction of the investigation. It confirms that Nidhi died nearly two hours before Ankit. Forensic evidence establishes that Nidhi was murdered, while Ankit’s death is ruled a suicide.
Police now face a complex mystery. Who murdered Nidhi? Why did Ankit take his own life afterward? And what happened during the final hours they spent together?
As detectives piece together the timeline, they uncover hidden tensions, troubled relationships, and secrets that gradually reveal the truth behind the tragedy.
