ज़ंजीर | The Chain
Shruti is a housewife who is badly scarred after a recent attack on her. Her husband brings her to a psychiatrist, where she tells him that a man attacked her while she was alone at home. He wanted to kill her, but her quick thinking saved her life.
The city is also shaken by similar incidents in which an unknown man enters a home to check the gas meter reading and suddenly attacks the woman because he already knows that she is alone at home. First, he kills the woman and then has sex with her body.
गृहणी श्रुति बेहद डरी हुई है। उसका पति उसे एक मनोचिकित्सक के पास ले जाता है, जहाँ वो बताती है कि उसके ऊपर उसके घर में ही एक आदमी ने अटैक किया था जो उसे मार डालना चाहता था, मगर उसकी चुस्ती के चलते वो आदमी डर के भाग गया। इस वारदात के बाद से उसे हमेशा ये डर लगा रहता है कि दरवाज़े पर कोई है और जब भी दरवाज़े की घंटी बजती है तो वो डर से कांप उठती है।
शहर में इसी से मिलती-जुलती और भी घटनाएँ हो रही हैं जहाँ एक आदमी गैस का मीटर चेक करने के बहाने घर के अंदर दाखिल होता है। उस आदमी को पहले से ये पता रहता है कि घर में महिला के अलावा और कोई नहीं है। वो घर में घुसकर महिला की एक लोहे की चेन से हत्या करता है और फिर लाश के साथ दुष्कर्म करता है।
