Born on 27 May, Monika Chowdhury hails from Ghaziabad, UP. She did all her studies from Ghaziabad itself. She was passionate about acting and other curricular activities from her schooling so soon after concluding her studies she started her acting career in 2011 in Delhi and then in 2016 she moved to Mumbai to focus more on her career on the TV and Film Industry.

Her debut TV Serial was Doordarshan's Kyuki Jeena Isi ka Naam Hai and her debut Film is Anarkali of Aarah (2017). Apart from this, she has also played roles in Ek Battey Do (2020) and Thinkistan (2019).

A Crime Patrol episodic where she played the role of Aarti is her favorite role. Other than Crime Patrol she has worked in Sony TV's Mere Sai, Colors' Detective Dev, now on VOOT  and few other TV Commercials.

Monika's favorite actors are Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra.
