What happens when love, family pressure and greed come together?
Riya (played by Rutpanna Aishwarya) is in love with Saurabh (played by Ashutosh Semwal), a junior accountant working in her family business. But her family fixes her marriage with Vikas, the son of a wealthy businessman. Riya refuses to accept the marriage and wants to be with Saurabh. At first, the couple considers running away. But Saurabh hesitates. Instead, Riya comes up with a shocking plan — she wants to fake her own death and disappear with Saurabh. The plan involves finding another woman who resembles her and making everyone believe Riya has been murdered. But Saurabh realizes that the plan could expose them through DNA evidence. Then comes an even darker idea. “Why not eliminate Vikas instead?”
Their plan is to make his death look like a robbery. The honeymoon, which should have been the beginning of a new life, becomes the setting for a deadly conspiracy. When their first attempt fails, they follow the newlyweds towards Mount Abu and prepare for another opportunity. Meanwhile, Riya continues pretending to be a happy newlywed while secretly waiting for Vikas to be killed.

हनीमून जो बदल गया एक खौफनाक मर्डर मिस्ट्री में — राजा रघुवंशी केस
मेघालय की खूबसूरत पहाड़ियों में शुरू हुआ एक हनीमून जल्द ही भारत के सबसे चर्चित और सनसनीखेज हत्या के मामलों में बदल गया।
इंदौर के 29 वर्षीय कारोबारी राजा रघुवंशी मई 2025 में अपनी पत्नी सोनम के साथ मेघालय घूमने गए थे। सोहरा (चेरापूंजी) इलाके में घूमने के दौरान यह दंपति लापता हो गया। कुछ दिनों बाद राजा का शव वेई सॉडॉन्ग फॉल्स के पास एक गहरी खाई में मिला। इसके बाद गुमशुदगी का मामला हत्या की जांच में बदल गया।
मेघालय पुलिस की विशेष जांच टीम की जांच में एक कथित साजिश सामने आई। पुलिस की चार्जशीट के अनुसार, सोनम का कथित तौर पर राज कुशवाहा के साथ संबंध था और आरोप है कि दोनों ने तीन अन्य लोगों के साथ मिलकर हनीमून के दौरान राजा की हत्या की साजिश रची।
आरोपित तीन अन्य लोगों की पहचान विशाल सिंह चौहान, आकाश राजपूत और आनंद कुर्मी के रूप में की गई।
पुलिस ने पांच मुख्य आरोपितों के खिलाफ 790 पन्नों की चार्जशीट दाखिल की। इसके अलावा तीन अन्य लोगों पर सबूतों को नष्ट करने या छिपाने में मदद करने के आरोप लगाए गए।

What was supposed to be a romantic honeymoon in the breathtaking hills of Meghalaya turned into one of India’s most shocking murder cases.
Raja Raghuvanshi, a 29-year-old businessman from Indore, travelled to Meghalaya with his wife, Sonam, in May 2025. The couple went missing while visiting the Sohra (Cherrapunji) region. Days later, Raja’s body was discovered in a gorge near Wei Sawdong Falls, turning what initially appeared to be a missing-person case into a murder investigation.
The investigation by Meghalaya Police’s Special Investigation Team allegedly uncovered a chilling conspiracy. According to the police chargesheet, Raja’s wife Sonam was allegedly involved in a relationship with Raj Kushwaha, and the two allegedly conspired with three others to murder Raja during the honeymoon. The three alleged assailants were identified as Vishal Singh Chauhan, Akash Rajput and Anand Kurmi.
Police filed a 790-page chargesheet against the five principal accused, containing evidence and details of the alleged conspiracy. Three additional people were also accused of helping destroy or conceal evidence, with a supplementary chargesheet expected after forensic reports.
The case has raised disturbing questions about trust, relationships, betrayal and how an ordinary-looking honeymoon could allegedly become the setting for a carefully planned crime.
Importantly, the allegations contained in the chargesheet are prosecution claims and will ultimately be tested in court. The accused are entitled to the presumption of innocence unless and until guilt is established through the judicial process.
The Raja Raghuvanshi case remains a deeply disturbing reminder that sometimes the most beautiful surroundings can hide the darkest secrets.
