बसंत राजभर और उनकी पत्नी निशा राजभर के घर एक बच्ची का जन्म होता है। परिवार में खुशियों का माहौल है और दोनों परिवार नवजात के आगमन का जश्न मना रहे हैं। लेकिन यह खुशी ज्यादा समय तक नहीं टिकती।
डिलीवरी के मात्र दो दिन बाद अस्पताल में बच्ची अपने पालने में मृत पाई जाती है। घटना से अस्पताल प्रशासन और परिवार दोनों स्तब्ध रह जाते हैं। पोस्टमॉर्टम रिपोर्ट में खुलासा होता है कि बच्ची की मौत दम घुटने से हुई थी और यह एक प्राकृतिक मृत्यु नहीं थी।
पुलिस तुरंत जांच शुरू करती है और शुरुआती शक बच्ची की मां निशा पर जाता है। पूछताछ के दौरान निशा यह स्वीकार भी कर लेती है कि उसने ही अपनी बेटी की हत्या की है।
हालांकि मामला इतना सरल नहीं था जितना पहली नजर में दिखाई देता था। कई परिस्थितियां ऐसी थीं जो इस स्वीकारोक्ति पर सवाल खड़े कर रही थीं।
मामला अदालत पहुंचता है, जहां सच्चाई का पता लगाने के लिए विशेष वकील सतीश को नियुक्त किया जाता है। जांच के दौरान एक महत्वपूर्ण तथ्य सामने आता है कि बच्ची निशा और बसंत की शादी के केवल सात महीने बाद पैदा हुई थी, फिर भी उसका जन्म सामान्य और स्वस्थ शिशु की तरह हुआ था।
यह जानकारी कई नए सवाल खड़े करती है। क्या निशा शादी से पहले ही गर्भवती थी? यदि ऐसा था, तो इस बात को परिवार ने क्यों छिपाया? और सबसे महत्वपूर्ण, क्या यही इस पूरे मामले की असली वजह थी?
जांच को और जटिल बनाने वाली बात यह थी कि बसंत और उसके परिवार का कोई भी सदस्य पुलिस या वकील के साथ सहयोग नहीं कर रहा था। उनकी चुप्पी इस रहस्य को और गहरा कर रही थी।
जैसे-जैसे सतीश मामले की परतें खोलता है, एक दर्दनाक और चौंकाने वाली सच्चाई सामने आने लगती है, जो इस मासूम बच्ची की मौत के पीछे छिपे वास्तविक कारणों को उजागर करती है।
Nisha Rajbhar gives birth to a baby girl, bringing immense joy to both her family and her husband’s family. However, the happiness turns into tragedy just two days later when the newborn is found dead in her cradle beside Nisha’s hospital bed.
The postmortem report reveals that the infant died due to suffocation. Police immediately launch an investigation and identify Nisha as the primary suspect. During questioning, she admits to killing the baby.
Despite the confession, several circumstances surrounding the case raise doubts about what truly happened. Investigators begin to question whether the entire story has been revealed.
The matter reaches the courtroom, where a special lawyer named Satish is assigned to examine the facts and determine whether Nisha is genuinely responsible or whether someone else played a role in the tragedy.
As the investigation progresses, an important detail emerges. The child was born only seven months after Nisha and Basant’s marriage, yet the baby was healthy and delivered normally. This discovery leads Satish to explore whether Nisha might have been pregnant before the marriage.
The inquiry becomes even more suspicious because neither Nisha’s parents nor her in-laws support her. Basant also refuses to cooperate fully with investigators and remains largely silent during questioning.
With conflicting evidence, family secrets, and unanswered questions, the case evolves into a complex courtroom battle where the truth is far more complicated than a simple confession.
