2017 का बावनवा केस | Case 52/2017
रीवा, मध्य प्रदेश में 23 जून 2016 की रात 22 वर्षीय वेटरनरी छात्र अनुराग चौकसे की हत्या रात करीब साढ़े नौ बजे हुई थी। 10 से 12 हमलावरों ने अनुराग की पीठ पर 7-8 बार चाकू से वार किए थे। जब वहां लोगों की भीड़ जुटने लगी तो वे चाकू की नोक पर लोगों को धमकाते हुए फरार हो गए। रात का अंधेरा और हमलावरों के नकाबपोश होने की वजह से कोई भी उन्हें पहचान नहीं सका। अनुराग को तुरंत संजय गांधी मेमोरियल हॉस्पिटल में भर्ती कराया गया, जहां सुबह करीब 7-8 बजे उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया गया।
इस हत्याकांड की गुत्थी सुलझाने के लिए पुलिस ने एड़ी-चोटी का जोर लगा दिया। पुलिस ने अनुराग के रूममेट आलोक भदौरिया से पूछताछ की। इसके अलावा लव एंगल की भी जांच की गई, लेकिन कुछ भी हाथ नहीं लगा। इस केस को सुलझाने में पुलिस को दो महीने लगे और फिर 7 अगस्त को पुलिस ने इस पूरे मामले का खुलासा किया। सामने आया सच बेहद चौंकाने वाला था।

On the night of 23 June 2016, Anurag Choukse, a 22-year-old veterinary student, was murdered at around 9:30 PM. There were 10 to 12 assailants who stabbed Anurag 7-8 times in the back. When they saw people gathering, they fled the scene after threatening bystanders at knifepoint. Due to the darkness and the fact that the attackers were masked, no one could identify them. Anurag was immediately admitted to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival at around 7-8 AM.
The case proved difficult for the police, who made every possible effort to solve it. They interrogated Anurag’s roommate, Alok Bhadauria, and also investigated a possible love angle, but nothing substantial emerged. After two months of investigation, the police finally cracked the case on 7 August and uncovered a shocking truth.
