Poornima is one of three sisters living with her father in the village of Sheerampur, Maharashtra. Like many young girls dreaming of a better future, she is attracted by promises of opportunity and success. Believing she is joining a legitimate training program, she becomes associated with an institution called Rangoli Dance Institute.
Meanwhile, Fauziya is a social worker who teaches girls at Seva Uddhar Sanstha. She is known for helping vulnerable women and children facing difficult circumstances. One day, she receives a distress call from Poornima. The call comes from an unknown number, and Poornima sounds terrified.
Poornima reveals that she is using the mobile phone of a security guard working at the dance institute. She pleads with Fauziya for help and explains that the so-called dance academy is not what it appears to be.
According to Poornima, girls are brought to the institute under false promises and then forced to stay there against their will. They are made to learn dance routines and are pressured to entertain customers. Anyone who tries to resist faces threats, intimidation, and punishment.
Fauziya is shocked by the allegations. Unsure how extensive the network may be, she begins gathering information while trying to keep Poornima safe. Every passing hour increases the risk that the people operating the institute may discover that Poornima has contacted someone outside.
