Crime Patrol | Ditched: Double murder of Anjana and sister-in-law Shakti (Episode 472, 473 on 20, 21 Feb 2014)

Anjana (played by Itishree Singh) is married to Devendra, a taxi driver, while Shakti (played by Urvara Patil)is Devendra’s cousin sister who lives nearby. Anjana and Shakti share a close bond and often spend time together. One day, both women leave home to attend a Satsang program but never return.

Meanwhile, a man passing near a deserted building hears women screaming for help. When he enters the building to investigate, he finds a woman lying unconscious on the floor. He immediately informs the police, who later confirm that the woman is dead. During further investigation, police discover another female dead body on the upper floor of the same abandoned building.

When Devendra files a missing complaint for his wife Anjana and cousin Shakti, police realize that the two bodies found in the deserted building belong to them.

During interrogation, Devendra reveals that Anjana was allegedly involved in an affair with a man named Kamal. According to him, he had even taken away her mobile phone after learning about the relationship.

Initially, Devendra becomes the prime suspect in the double murder case. However, as the investigation progresses, two more names emerge — Badal Rane and Shrikant Apte.

अंजना, देवेन्द्र की पत्नी है और शक्ति उसकी चचेरी बहन, जो उनके घर के पास ही रहती है। अंजना और शक्ति दोनों में काफी अच्छी बनती है। एक दिन दोनों सत्संग में जाने के लिए घर से निकलती हैं, लेकिन वापस नहीं लौटतीं।

दूसरी तरफ, एक व्यक्ति को एक खंडहर जैसी इमारत से महिलाओं के चिल्लाने की आवाज़ सुनाई देती है। जब वह अंदर जाकर देखता है तो उसे एक महिला ज़मीन पर पड़ी मिलती है। वह तुरंत पुलिस को सूचना देता है। पुलिस मौके पर पहुंचकर पुष्टि करती है कि महिला की हत्या हो चुकी है। जांच के दौरान उसी इमारत की ऊपरी मंजिल पर एक और महिला की लाश मिलती है।

जब देवेन्द्र अपनी पत्नी अंजना और बहन शक्ति की गुमशुदगी की रिपोर्ट दर्ज कराता है, तब पुलिस को पता चलता है कि खंडहर में मिली दोनों लाशें उन्हीं की हैं।

पूछताछ के दौरान देवेन्द्र बताता है कि अंजना का कमल नाम के व्यक्ति के साथ संबंध था। उसे इस रिश्ते के बारे में पता चलने के बाद उसने अंजना का मोबाइल फोन भी छीन लिया था।

शुरुआत में पुलिस का मुख्य शक देवेन्द्र पर जाता है, लेकिन जांच आगे बढ़ने पर बादल राणे और श्रीकांत आप्टे नाम के दो और लोगों की संलिप्तता सामने आती है।
