A man sees a female dead body at a junkyard. He informs the police, and they send the body for a postmortem. The report reveals that the deceased was two months pregnant and had been strangled to death. No external injuries were found on the body. The postmortem report also provides clues suggesting that the woman may have been a sex worker.
Police start their investigation in the red-light areas of Mumbai. Somehow, they come to know that the woman’s name was Chandni Parmar and that she hailed from Rajasthan. She came to Mumbai in search of work but became a bar girl. Later, she started working in a brothel.
Police find a man who says her name was Priyanka, not Chandni. Also, the phone number he has is different from the one the police found. Police call Chandni’s parents for identification of the body.

पुलिस उसकी जानकारी लेते हुए एक आदमी के पास पहुँचती है, जो उसका नाम प्रियंका बताता है। उसके पास चांदनी का जो फोन नंबर है, वो भी पुलिस को मिले नंबर से अलग है। पुलिस चांदनी के माँ-बाप को राजस्थान से शिनाख्त के लिए बुलाती है।
