Ranjit and Mallika had married for love despite fierce opposition from their families and community. Four years later, they were living in Delhi and preparing to celebrate their wedding anniversary with a trip to Shimla. Their conversations were filled with dreams about the future, but everything suddenly changed. Ranjit was found dead inside a car, while Mallika was discovered dead at home. Both had been shot from close range.
The investigation revealed that Ranjit and Mallika belonged to different castes and their relationship had once triggered intense family opposition. Police attention soon shifted toward Mallika’s brother Pulkit, her cousin Roma, and Roma’s brother Jaideep. Phone records exposed crucial calls made shortly before the killings, while several people connected to the couple suddenly became unreachable.
In Wazirpur, investigators uncovered the couple’s troubled past. Years earlier, Roma had helped Ranjit and Mallika escape and marry. Now Roma’s younger sister Khushi had secretly married Vivek, a man from another caste, reigniting old tensions over caste and family honour.
Then Roma mysteriously disappeared. Police began to suspect that the deaths of Ranjit and Mallika were connected to something far deeper than an ordinary double murder. As investigators searched for Roma and reconstructed the family’s hidden conflicts, disturbing clues suggested that an old hatred had returned with deadly consequences.

जांच में सामने आया कि दोनों अलग-अलग जातियों से थे और कभी उनके रिश्ते का परिवारों ने कड़ा विरोध किया था। पुलिस की नजर मलिका के भाई पुलकित, उसकी चचेरी बहन रोमा और रोमा के भाई जैदीप पर गई। फोन रिकॉर्ड बताते थे कि हत्या से पहले कुछ महत्वपूर्ण कॉल हुए थे, जबकि कई संबंधित लोग अचानक संपर्क से बाहर थे।
पुलिस जब वजीरपुर पहुँची तो पुराने जख्म फिर खुलने लगे। पता चला कि वर्षों पहले रोमा ने रंजीत और मलिका को साथ भागने और शादी करने में मदद की थी। अब रोमा की छोटी बहन खुशी भी विवेक से प्रेम करती थी और दोनों ने छिपकर शादी कर ली थी। इससे परिवार में जाति और कथित सम्मान को लेकर तनाव फिर भड़क उठा।
इसी बीच रोमा भी रहस्यमय ढंग से गायब हो गई। पुलिस को लगने लगा कि रंजीत और मलिका की मौत केवल दो हत्याओं का मामला नहीं, बल्कि वर्षों पुराने पारिवारिक और जातिगत संघर्ष की नई कड़ी है। रोमा कहाँ थी और इन वारदातों के पीछे कौन था, इसकी तलाश ने जांच को और खतरनाक दिशा में मोड़ दिया।
