Shubham, a freelance website content writer, is the father of three children. The youngest is Jiya, who is still a minor, while Tara is the eldest daughter and Aman is the middle child. Aman is addicted to drugs, which creates constant tension inside the house.

One day, Shubham catches Aman red-handed with hard drugs in his bag. After this incident, Shubham and his wife Nandini decide to keep Aman away from home so that he can learn responsibility and understand the value of money and life.

Aman eventually moves out and starts living with some of his friends. Soon after, Shubham leaves home saying that he is travelling to Delhi for work, but he never returns. His phone also becomes unreachable. Maharashtra Police later discover Shubham’s dead body in Pune, turning the case into a mystery. The biggest question is why Shubham was found in Pune when he was supposedly travelling to Delhi.

Nandini immediately suspects Aman because he was deeply frustrated with his father. Police detain Aman for questioning and begin investigating the family’s hidden tensions.

Meanwhile, a retired private detective contacts the investigating officer and claims he can help solve the case. During the investigation, police uncover another shocking truth — Shubham was not the biological father of the three children.

Before the death of Aman’s real father, Shubham used to live near their house as a tenant and gradually became close to Nandini. Aman’s real father had started suspecting Nandini’s character and hired the detective to gather evidence. According to the detective, after seeing the proof himself, Aman’s father suffered a fatal shock.

अमन घर छोड़कर अपने दोस्तों के साथ रहने चला जाता है। इसके बाद एक दिन शुभम नंदिनी से कहता है कि वह किसी काम से दिल्ली जा रहा है, लेकिन वह वापस नहीं लौटता। उसका फोन भी बंद आने लगता है। बाद में महाराष्ट्र पुलिस को शुभम की लाश पुणे में मिलती है, जिससे मामला और रहस्यमय हो जाता है। सवाल यह उठता है कि दिल्ली जाने की बात कहने वाला शुभम पुणे कैसे पहुंचा?

नंदिनी का पहला शक अमन पर जाता है क्योंकि वह अपने पिता से काफी नाराज़ रहता था। पुलिस अमन को हिरासत में लेकर पूछताछ शुरू करती है।

दूसरी ओर, पुलिस से रिटायर्ड एक प्राइवेट डिटेक्टिव जांच अधिकारी से संपर्क करता है और बताता है कि वह इस केस को सुलझाने में मदद कर सकता है। जांच के दौरान पुलिस के सामने एक और चौंकाने वाला सच आता है — शुभम इन बच्चों का असली पिता नहीं था।

अमन के असली पिता की मृत्यु से पहले शुभम उनके घर के पास किराए पर रहता था और धीरे-धीरे नंदिनी के करीब आ गया था। बच्चों के असली पिता को नंदिनी के चरित्र पर शक होने लगा था, इसलिए उन्होंने डिटेक्टिव की मदद ली थी। डिटेक्टिव के अनुसार, सबूत देखने के बाद उन्हें इतना बड़ा सदमा लगा कि उनकी हार्ट अटैक से मौत हो गई।
