A week later, Rajesh (real name Ramesh, 37 and played by Rajiv Kumar), and his wife Sejal (real name Kanchan Vinzuda, 34 and played by Pyumori Mehta) travel to Bharuch to immerse the ashes in the Narmada River while their daughters remain at home.

जुलाई 2011 में अहमदाबाद का एक सामान्य परिवार अचानक दो दुखद घटनाओं से टूट जाता है। पहले राजेश के पिता का हार्ट अटैक से निधन हो जाता है। सातवें दिन उनकी अस्थियां नर्मदा नदी में विसर्जित करने के लिए राजेश और उसकी पत्नी सेजल भरूच जाते हैं, जबकि उनकी दोनों बेटियां घर पर रहती हैं।
नर्मदा के तेज बहाव के बीच अचानक सेजल नदी में गिर जाती है। राजेश मदद के लिए चिल्लाता है, लेकिन कोई उसे बचा नहीं पाता। घंटों की तलाश के बाद भी उसका कोई पता नहीं चलता और सभी उसे मृत मान लेते हैं।
