Twenty-two-year-old Sunil Kohli (real name Vaibhav Saini (Dehradun) and played by Ayaz Ahmed)) lived with his parents in the Raipur area of Dehradun. Having recently completed engineering, he was searching for a job and attending interviews. On the evening of July 8, Sunil told his parents that he was going to a friend’s sister’s engagement and might return late. By the next morning, however, his body had been discovered. The postmortem revealed a disturbing detail: a large quantity of rat poison had entered his body through an injection. Its unusually clean administration raised questions about whether Sunil had injected himself or someone skilled had done it.

The investigation soon uncovered another mystery. None of Sunil’s friends knew of any engagement matching the story he had told his parents. His last phone location pointed to Nanur Kheda, while friends insisted he was neither depressed nor involved with drugs. Police also learned about an old dispute involving former tenant Dr. Sudhir Tiwari, but the inquiry did not stop there. Six months of call records revealed suspicious numbers, a fertility clinic, and the unfamiliar name Dr. Umang Khurana. As investigators traced these calls, they discovered secret arrangements and unexpected contacts connected to Sunil’s final movements. What initially appeared to be a possible suicide was rapidly turning into a far more complicated mystery.

जांच में पहला बड़ा रहस्य तब सामने आया जब सुनील के किसी भी दोस्त को उस कथित सगाई की जानकारी नहीं मिली। उसकी आखिरी फोन लोकेशन नानूर खेड़ा मिली और परिचितों ने बताया कि वह न तो डिप्रेशन में था, न ड्रग्स लेता था। पुलिस को पुराने किरायेदार डॉक्टर सुधीर तिवारी से हुए विवाद का भी पता चला, लेकिन मामला वहीं तक सीमित नहीं रहा। छह महीने के कॉल रिकॉर्ड खंगालने पर कुछ संदिग्ध नंबर, एक फर्टिलिटी क्लिनिक और डॉक्टर उमंग खुराना का नाम सामने आया। आगे की फोन ट्रैकिंग ने ऐसी गुप्त मुलाकातों और अनजान लोगों की कड़ियां खोलनी शुरू कीं, जिनसे सुनील की आखिरी रात का रहस्य और गहरा होता गया।
