Jagan Kora, a placement agency owner in Moti Nagar, Delhi, was murdered on October 3, 2012, by two unknown men who came to his home. His wife Anjali (played by Itishree Singh) was away in Jharkhand. The only witness was the maid, Maira (played by Mansi Singh). She claimed she did not recognize the attackers but said Jagan knew them.

Initially, the police suspected Mayera’s story was fake. However, a call to Jagan’s phone from a woman named Shital changed everything. Shital revealed that Jagan had promised to leave his wife and start a new life with her. He had even sent her a train ticket.

Further investigation uncovered that Jagan regularly abused his wife Anjali, threatened to kill her, and had extramarital affairs. Anjali, fearing for her life and her children’s future, conspired with her friends Mahesh and Shyamal to kill Jagan. Mayera was instructed to open the door for them.
