Yogesh is a diamond trader who stores his valuable diamonds in the locker facility of National People Bank. He is shocked to discover that diamonds worth nearly one million rupees are missing from his locker.

When Yogesh reports the matter to the bank manager, Vinayak, he insists that such a theft is impossible. Even Yogesh’s family members and acquaintances believe that he might have mistakenly kept the diamonds somewhere else and forgotten about them. This incident takes place in 2008.

A similar incident happens again in 2011. Once more, Yogesh discovers that diamonds are missing from the same bank locker. This time, however, he files a police complaint and an official investigation begins.

The police carefully study the entire process of operating bank lockers. They then ask the bank manager to contact other jewelers who also keep their valuables in the same locker facility.

When the customers check their lockers, everyone is shocked to discover that diamonds worth nearly two crore rupees have disappeared from multiple lockers.

हीरे-जवाहरात के व्यापारी योगेश अपने हीरों को सुरक्षित रखने के लिए नेशनल पीपल बैंक के लॉकर में रखता है। वह यह देखकर हैरान रह जाता है कि उसके लाखों रुपये के हीरे लॉकर से गायब हैं। यह घटना वर्ष 2008 की है।

जब योगेश इस बारे में बैंक मैनेजर विनायक को बताता है, तो वह कहता है कि ऐसा होना संभव ही नहीं है। बैंक कर्मचारी और योगेश के परिवार वाले भी यही मानते हैं कि शायद योगेश हीरे कहीं और रखकर भूल गया होगा।

मामला धीरे-धीरे शांत हो जाता है, लेकिन वर्ष 2011 में फिर से योगेश के साथ वही घटना होती है। इस बार भी उसके हीरे बैंक लॉकर से गायब मिलते हैं। अब योगेश पुलिस में शिकायत दर्ज करवाता है और पुलिस जांच शुरू करती है।

पुलिस बैंक लॉकर के पूरे सिस्टम और प्रक्रिया को समझती है। इसके बाद पुलिस मैनेजर से कहती है कि इस शाखा में जिन-जिन व्यापारियों के लॉकर हैं, उन्हें बुलाकर अपने लॉकर चेक करवाए जाएं।

जब सभी ज्वेलर्स अपने लॉकर चेक करते हैं तो पता चलता है कि कुल मिलाकर करोड़ों रुपये के हीरे गायब हैं।
