The Human Touch | स्पर्श
Ashok Rao is a property consultant in Bangalore. One morning, after finishing his yoga session, he finds a boy aged around 16–17 years near a junkyard. The boy appears to be in a pathetic condition and desperately needs help. Ashok’s friend Mahesh advises him to stay away, but Ashok feels the boy is hungry and in trouble. He takes the boy to a nearby shop and arranges food for him. The shopkeeper is also surprised and warns Ashok against helping strangers, saying they could be dangerous. However, Ashok believes the boy genuinely needs assistance.
The boy introduces himself as Bharat and is visibly injured. Ashok takes him to a hospital, but the staff refuse to admit him because Bharat has no identity proof and Ashok is neither a relative nor an acquaintance. Eventually, Ashok takes him to a doctor he knows and gets him admitted. After receiving treatment, the boy reveals his full name as Bharat Sherpa. He repeatedly asks about his scooter.
Meanwhile, Ashok’s son uploads Bharat’s photograph on Facebook and shares it through WhatsApp. Bharat’s photograph quickly spreads across social media, and one of his classmates eventually recognizes him.
Bharat Sherpa reunited through social mediaअशोक राव बैंगलोर में एक प्रॉपर्टी कंसल्टेंट हैं। एक सुबह योग सत्र समाप्त करने के बाद वह अपने दोस्त महेश के साथ लौट रहे होते हैं, तभी उन्हें एक कूड़ेदान के पास लगभग 15–16 वर्ष का एक लड़का दिखाई देता है। अशोक को लगता है कि उस बच्चे को मदद की जरूरत है, लेकिन महेश उन्हें सलाह देता है कि ऐसे लोगों से दूर रहना चाहिए। अशोक को यह बात सही नहीं लगती। उन्हें महसूस होता है कि बच्चा भूखा है, इसलिए वह उसे खाने के लिए एक दुकान पर ले जाते हैं। दुकानदार भी हैरान होता है और कहता है कि बिना जाने-पहचाने किसी की मदद करना ठीक नहीं, लेकिन अशोक का मानना है कि बच्चा वास्तव में परेशानी में है।
लड़का अपना नाम भरत बताता है और उसके हाथ में चोट लगी होती है। अशोक उसे अस्पताल ले जाते हैं, लेकिन पहचान पत्र न होने के कारण अस्पताल वाले उसे भर्ती करने से मना कर देते हैं। आखिरकार अशोक अपने परिचित डॉक्टर की मदद से उसे भर्ती करवा देते हैं। कुछ समय बाद वह अपना पूरा नाम भारत शेरपा बताता है और बार-बार अपने स्कूटर के बारे में पूछता रहता है। उपचार के बाद उसकी हालत में सुधार होने लगता है।
इसी बीच अशोक का बेटा भरत की तस्वीर और अशोक का फोन नंबर फेसबुक पर पोस्ट कर देता है तथा व्हाट्सऐप पर भी साझा करता है। धीरे-धीरे भरत की तस्वीर इंटरनेट पर फैल जाती है और सिक्किम में रहने वाला एक युवक उसे पहचान लेता है, जो भरत को पहले से जानता था।
यह कहानी बैंगलोर की एक वास्तविक घटना पर आधारित है। 17 वर्षीय Sanjay, जो मानसिक उपचार के लिए बैंगलोर आया था, अचानक लापता हो गया। बाद में उसे जन्म से बौद्ध Nanda Kumar ने पाया। उन्होंने उसे जयनगर जनरल अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया, जहां उसका इलाज और स्वास्थ्य सुधार हुआ। 17 मार्च को नंदा कुमार ने उसकी तस्वीरें फेसबुक पर साझा कीं, जिन्हें देखकर उसके मित्रों और रिश्तेदारों ने उसे पहचान लिया।
