Crime Patrol | Conspiracy Unearthed: Chain snaching gang investigation turns to a murder case (Episode 442, 443 on 6, 7 Dec 2014)

In the city of Kolhapur, a chain-snatching gang has spread terror. The criminals have been openly committing such crimes for several days, and the police have failed to catch them. As a result, the police increase surveillance across the city, deploying officers in plain clothes at various locations.

In the middle of this operation, two bikers commit another chain-snatching incident and try to escape. A police officer chases them but fails to catch them.

Soon after, the same officer notices two boys, Shekhar and Prasad, harassing a street vendor selling bhel puri. The boys are attempting to extort money from him. Suspicious of their behavior, the police take them to the station for questioning.

After intimidating them for some time, the police separate the two and try to gather information by trapping them in conversation. Shekhar claims that he is a student and even shows his ID card as proof. He further reveals that Prasad dropped out of college a year earlier and is no longer studying.

On the other hand, when the police strictly interrogate Prasad, he claims to be innocent but accuses Shekhar of being involved in a crime in Pune. He reveals that Shekhar had gone to Pune to commit a murder.

The police are shocked by Prasad’s statement. They intensify the interrogation of Shekhar, who finally confesses that a ward boy named Sanjay had called him to threaten someone. Sanjay himself had been contacted by a man named Nagesh, who in turn had been approached by another man named Kunal.

The police arrest each person one after another, eventually uncovering an entire murder conspiracy.

कोल्हापुर शहर में चेन स्नेचर गैंग का आतंक फैला हुआ है। ये लोग पिछले कई दिनों से खुलेआम ऐसी घटनाओं को अंजाम दे रहे हैं और पुलिस इन्हें पकड़ने में पूरी तरह नाकाम रही है। इसी कारण पुलिस अपनी सतर्कता बढ़ा देती है और सादी वर्दी में पुलिसकर्मियों को पूरे शहर में तैनात किया जाता है।

इसी बीच दो बाइक सवार एक और चेन स्नैचिंग की घटना को अंजाम देकर भागने की कोशिश करते हैं। एक पुलिस अधिकारी उनका पीछा करता है मगर उन्हें पकड़ नहीं पाता।

इसके कुछ समय बाद वही पुलिस अधिकारी शेखर और प्रसाद नाम के दो लड़कों को एक भेलपुरी वाले को परेशान करते देखता है। वे उससे हफ्ता वसूलने की कोशिश कर रहे होते हैं। शक के आधार पर पुलिस उन दोनों को थाने ले जाती है।

काफी देर तक धमकाने और पूछताछ करने के बाद पुलिस दोनों को अलग-अलग बैठाकर बातों में फंसाने की कोशिश करती है। शेखर खुद को एक छात्र बताता है और अपना आईडी कार्ड भी दिखाता है। वह यह भी बताता है कि प्रसाद एक साल पहले कॉलेज छोड़ चुका है।

दूसरी तरफ जब पुलिस प्रसाद से सख्ती से पूछताछ करती है तो वह खुद को निर्दोष बताता है लेकिन शेखर पर पुणे में एक हत्या करने का आरोप लगाता है। वह बताता है कि शेखर पुणे किसी की हत्या करने गया था।

पुलिस यह सुनकर चौंक जाती है। अब पुलिस शेखर से और सख्ती से पूछताछ करती है, तब वह बताता है कि उसे संजय नाम के एक वार्ड बॉय ने किसी को धमकाने के लिए बुलाया था। संजय को नागेश ने बुलाया था और नागेश को कुणाल ने संपर्क किया था।

पुलिस एक-एक करके सभी लोगों को गिरफ्तार करती है और आखिरकार एक बड़े मर्डर केस का पर्दाफाश होता है।
