A foul smell starts coming from a flat. A nearby resident becomes sure that the smell is neither from gas leakage nor from something burnt, so he calls the police. Police break the lock and enter the flat. Inside a wardrobe, they find the dead body of a girl.
A neighbour tells the police that the girl is Sofia Parashar (real name Tia and played by Vidhi Pandya) who was living there with her two friends, John (played by Mausam Dubey) and Kareem. Police first contact the landlord and then reach the showroom where Sofia worked.
Everyone who knew Sofia praises her personality. Investigation reveals that Sofia, John, and Kareem were brought up together in an orphanage in Gurgaon. Police find all three mobile phones switched off, and even informers fail to provide any clue about the missing boys.
Police find Aditya’s phone number in Sofia’s call records and call him for questioning. Aditya is shocked after learning about Sofia’s death because he and Sofia were in love. He first met Sofia at her bike showroom when he had gone there to buy a bike. They became friends and later fell in love. Sofia had also introduced him to John and Kareem, and Aditya admired their friendship.
Further investigation at the orphanage reveals that all three children had families as well. Sofia was admitted to the orphanage by her mother, while John and Kareem were left there by their father and brother. Everyone who knows them insists that John and Kareem could never harm Sofia because the three shared a very close bond.
Police now begin investigating another angle — whether Aditya himself is hiding something. They suspect that John and Kareem may not have disappeared willingly and that Aditya could somehow be involved in their disappearance as well.

एक फ्लैट से दो दिनों से बहुत दुर्गंध आ रही है जो न किसी चीज़ के जलने की है और न ही गैस की। पास में रहने वाला एक व्यक्ति पुलिस को फोन करता है। पुलिस आकर घर का दरवाज़ा तोड़कर अंदर दाखिल होती है और छानबीन शुरू करती है। कमरे की वार्डरोब खोलने पर उसके अंदर से एक लड़की की लाश बरामद होती है।
पड़ोसी बताता है कि लड़की का नाम सोफिया है और वह यहाँ दो अन्य लड़कों जॉन और करीम के साथ रहती थी। पुलिस घर के मकान मालिक को बुलाती है और फिर उस शोरूम में पहुँचती है जहाँ सोफिया काम करती थी। मकान मालिक से लेकर हर कोई सोफिया की तारीफ करता है कि वह बहुत अच्छी लड़की थी।
छानबीन में पता चलता है कि सोफिया, जॉन और करीम एक अनाथालय में साथ पले-बढ़े थे। पुलिस को तीनों के फोन बंद मिलते हैं और खबरियों से भी कोई जानकारी नहीं मिल पाती। सोफिया के फोन रिकॉर्ड्स में आदित्य नाम के युवक का नंबर मिलता है और पुलिस उसे पूछताछ के लिए बुलाती है। आदित्य यह जानकर सदमे में आ जाता है कि सोफिया की मौत हो चुकी है क्योंकि वह और सोफिया एक-दूसरे से प्यार करते थे।
आदित्य और सोफिया की मुलाकात बाइक शोरूम में हुई थी जब वह बाइक खरीदने गया था। शुरुआत में दोनों दोस्त बने और धीरे-धीरे एक-दूसरे के करीब आ गए। सोफिया ने उसे करीम और जॉन से भी मिलवाया था और आदित्य को उनकी दोस्ती बहुत पसंद आई थी।
अनाथालय में पूछताछ करने पर पता चलता है कि तीनों बच्चों के अलग-अलग परिवार भी थे। सोफिया को उसकी माँ अनाथालय में छोड़ गई थी जबकि जॉन और करीम को उनके पिता और भाई ने वहाँ छोड़ा था। जो भी लोग इन तीनों को जानते हैं, उनका कहना है कि करीम और जॉन सोफिया को नुकसान नहीं पहुँचा सकते क्योंकि तीनों बहुत अच्छे दोस्त थे।
अब पुलिस हत्या का दूसरा एंगल देखने लगती है। उन्हें शक होता है कि कहीं आदित्य पुलिस से कुछ छिपा तो नहीं रहा और जॉन व करीम अपनी मर्जी से गायब नहीं हुए, बल्कि आदित्य ने ही उन्हें गायब करवाया हो।
