Sunil Khare was an engineering student who recently killed someone in broad daylight. He is arrested and is screaming that he wants to know his identity. He wants to know his full name in the FIR and wants to know his true identity.

Sunil’s full name is Sunil Purushottam Khare, and his father’s name is Purushottam Khare, who died recently. His mother’s name is Vidya. His younger sister is married. Police investigation reveals that Vidya was Purushottam’s second wife, and they married long ago when Purushottam’s first wife was still alive. According to Hindu law, it is illegal to marry a woman without divorcing the first wife. Because of this, Vidya is unable to claim a piece of land in Nashik that was given to Purushottam by his father.

Purushottam’s family never accepted Vidya, and at the time of their marriage, they denied their relationship. According to them, Vidya was just like a mistress of Purushottam who now wants to grab his land.

सुनील खरे एक इंजीनियरिंग स्टूडेंट था जिसने सरेआम एक हत्या की है। वो पुलिस थाने में बंद है और लगातार ये चिल्ला रहा है कि वो अपनी पहचान जानना चाहता है कि उसका नाम एफआईआर में क्या लिखा गया है। पुलिस के सीनियर अफसर केस इंचार्ज से पूछते हैं कि ये लड़का कौन है और क्या जानना चाहता है। इंस्पेक्टर उन्हें बताते हैं कि ये लड़का एक कत्ल के जुर्म में अंदर किया गया है।

लड़के का पूरा नाम सुनील पुरुषोत्तम खरे है। पिता का नाम पुरुषोत्तम खरे है जिनका कुछ समय पहले देहांत हो चुका है। माँ का नाम विद्या है। सुनील की एक छोटी बहन भी है जिसकी शादी हो चुकी है। पुलिस तफ्तीश में पता चलता है कि विद्या पुरुषोत्तम की दूसरी पत्नी थी, जिससे उसने सालों पहले मंदिर में शादी की थी। हिंदू धर्म के अनुसार पहली पत्नी को तलाक दिए बिना दूसरी शादी करना अवैध होता है, जिसकी वजह से पुरुषोत्तम की एक ज़मीन जो नासिक में उसके पिता ने उसके लिए खरीदी थी, वो विद्या के नाम नहीं हो पा रही है।

पुरुषोत्तम से शादी के बाद से ही पुरुषोत्तम के पिता और भाई ने विद्या को सिरे से नकार दिया था। उनके अनुसार विद्या पुरुषोत्तम की रखैल थी जो अब उसकी ज़मीन हथियाना चाहती है।
